*Emily*
As I step out of the elevator, I find myself enveloped in darkness. The lights suddenly switch off, and the sound of sirens fills the air, accompanied by the flashing of red emergency lights. Panic begins to take hold of me. "What is going on?" I question, searching for any sign of security personnel but finding none. "Hello, is anyone here?" My voice echoes through the emptiness, but there's no response. The elevator door has already closed, and I am certain it's locked down due to the alarm. I'm at a loss for what to do next.
Tentatively, I proceed down the corridor, still unable to spot any guards. To my surprise, the cell doors appear to be slightly open. Fear slowly creeps up on me, building like an enormous knot in the pit of my stomach. I have no weapons at my disposal, only a panic button, but there's no need to trigger more alarms; help must be en route.
I take a deep, steadying breath and continue walking. Could Loki, the infamous hybrid, have broken free? I call out once more, "Hello, is anyone here?" My pulse quickens as I think I catch a glimpse of a shadow out of the corner of my eye. But when I turn my head, there's nothing there.
Closing my eyes, I inhale another deep, calming breath. But my eyes snap open when I hear the sound of triumphant laughter. There's no doubt left in my mind… Loki has escaped. Despite my confusion about how this could've happened, I know I must flee. I sprint towards the elevator, fully aware it won't function but unsure of any other course of action. My heart hammers against my chest.
Before I can reach my destination, Loki materializes in front of me, halting my progress. "Lady Emily, what a pleasure to finally meet you on equal ground." His smile is sinister, his eyes alight with insanity as he saunters towards me. His attire is a striking combination of black and green, making him appear otherworldly.
Panic courses through my veins, and I know I must escape. I spin around and attempt to run, but after only a few steps, I crash into something that feels like a solid wall… it's Loki again. He firmly grasps my arms, tilting his head as he examines me, and inquires, "Did you truly believe you could outrun me?"
"Please, let me go, Loki," I plead, desperate to break free. He shakes his head slowly, chuckling. "But that isn't what you truly want, not if you're being honest with yourself." I can feel tears threatening to spill, but I blink them back, refusing to let him witness my fear. "I promise I won't try to stop you from leaving if you just release me."
He loosens his grip on one of my arms, lifting my chin with his hand, his green eyes locked onto mine. His voice is smooth and seductive as he murmurs, "I know what you truly desire." I can sense he's going to kiss me, but I'm unable to move or resist his overpowering presence. When his lips make contact with mine, I attempt to step back, but the cold wall is pressed against my back.
His lips are unexpectedly soft and cool. I stand still as he smiles against my mouth, gently sucking on my top lip. My eyes squeezed shut, my stomach feels like it's caught in a whirlwind, and my entire body feels hot and feverish. He nibbles on my bottom lip, and before I realize what's happening, my hands are wrapped around his neck, fingers running through his hair, fervently reciprocating his embrace.
Pinned against the wall, one hand gripping my hip and the other tangled in my hair, his kisses are simultaneously intense and tender. I come to the shocking realization that I would willingly submit to him; I have no defenses left, utterly bewitched by his charm.
He trails his lips down my neck, stopping at my collarbone, eliciting a gasp and a whimper from me. His breath tickles my skin as he whispers gleefully, "I told you, I know precisely what your heart desires, Lady Emily."
All at once, I am jolted awake, sitting up in bed and switching on my bedside lamp. It takes me a moment to fully regain consciousness, my body slick with sweat and my breath ragged. Flushing with embarrassment, I think to myself, "Did I genuinely just have a naughty dream about Loki?"
