"What did you buy" I said, putting the phone away secretly in my bag.
"You will see when we get home" she said and placed it in her bag.
"Have you ordered?" she said.
"No I was waiting for you", I said and gestured with my hand for the waiter to come over.
"Hello, ma'am, what would you like to order" he said, holding his notepad.
"Some burgers with coke" I said, and he wrote it on his notepad.
"I will have some fries with chicken and a coke please" she said.
"Thank you" he said and walked away.
"What did you at the mall pharmacy", I tried to see if she would answer me.
"I said if we got home" she said, smiling.
The waiter came back with our orders and Kathy offered to pay with her credit card.
I sipped my coke while I tried to see if anything had changed about her.
