After Mary dropped Steve back at the office, WPC Beth Saunders was waiting for her.
“Have you been briefed what this is about?” Mary asked.
“No, I was only told to come here to meet you. I"m really excited to be working with CID, even if it"s only for a short while.”
“Don"t get too excited, it"s not that much different. Half of your day is spent filling out paperwork and most of what"s left is carrying out research. I can"t deny, it does have its moments, but when I say, moments, I mean the word literally.”
