This past week under the Pyramids the intensity, if not variety, of training has lifted. Our new formations in four Coys. have been fully realised and we have been out in the desert for days on end - leaving at 6.30 after breakfast and struggling back just in time for tea. Each Coy. now comprises about 230 men across four platoons with Sections of 20. Our skirmish training in the bigger Sections caused some confusion at first but it is evident there is much benefit in the structure. Speculation as to our orders continues in earnest, with some saying we will be in France within six weeks, others suggesting we will invade Turkey in much the same timeframe, while other
