Episode 53-Threat discovery.

My head was on fire as I brainstorm what to do about the news, Hero was in worst shape, since we arrived in Zullion, Hero had been very busy...tightening security, adjusting protocols and managing space activities in case any ship were to leave Zullion or in case the humans were to retaliate and what was worse...waa that I was as helpless, I couldn't think of anything to do, Hero shunned my every attempt to help and just keep me locked up with Barb instead and it was starting to get really annoying. "Barb, where is Hero right now?" I questioned the only friend I've got. "He's in the State assembly hall with all the ministers...he needed to inform them of things" Barb informed, she was my only source of information, she could get information as far as I wanted her to go...even if it's earth, after we settled I asked for Barb to help use earth's satellite to help track my parents and check if they were okay, and also the rest of my family and she managed to do that, she managed to even hack into their calls while I could hear Charlie speaking to Tanya of phone talking about letting their little kid stay over at my parent's while they both go on vacation, I was glad to know they were okay but a little sad as none of them referenced me in their discussion whatsoever, not even when my mom was speaking to my dad when he was returning from the grocery store. I was expecting to have surfaced at least two times in any of their conversations but none of them mentioned me and I must say, I am not very pleased about that but I'm very glad they're happy. "Barb" I called out after a while of trying to figure out how to knit but always tangled the wool and all. "Come help me with this please?" I requested and she immediately moved to help untangle my sewing thread, I've been trying to knit a small baby clothes which had been the only thing that had successfully kept me calm under the pressure and unfavorable condition we were all in. "Barb" I called again after I managed to resume sewing. "Yes" She replied almost immediately. "What do you think would be the ex-prince first line of action?" I questioned bringing out another yearn of thread which was of different colour to the ones I had been using. "Right now...he has been drained of energy and would hardly be able to change form as a defender, according to his medical reports he isn't stable either...so I'm certain the very first thing they'll do is find a place to recuperate and build energy, then they'll try to get stronger...they are no match for you or the king Claire, not even with the three of them together" Barb sounded pretty confident but I couldn't blame him, he was a robot and didn't know the feelings at stake. "You look really worried?" Barb commented and I nodded, apparently she was right...I was worried for Hero, his brothers had been the cause of his suffering from the very first day of his life, he was born to rule...on the same day with Kee, the name I had learned to call to the prince that cause my suffering and misery. Kee had almost killed Hero, twice...when they were much younger. Kee's mother had removed Hero's heart and swap his to her son. The king back then had two wives...I assume Kee's mother was a concubine until Hero's mother died in labour, and she had took the helpless Hero and perform a formidable on him switching powers for his son and casting Hero away, Hero from a young age had been trying to prove his worth to everyone, even as a defender and not an heir to the throne of Zullion. He had been fighting and fighting and even to earth to assassinate me and almost getting killed in the process, but together with my family and friends we showed the deceit of his family and widened his eyes to see beyond their greed to have earth. Earth had never been a good place for Ghafils...not now, not ever, but it still come as a surprise how much Ghafils had become citizens on earth...it was quite shocking how a heavy population as that managed to reside on earth without anyone finding out until the very last point, and speaking of the population...Hero is also struggling to meet up with the demands for shelter and food because of the sudden increase in population, darn it. He'll be so tired working on everything at the same time...thinking I've had enough of being idle; I stood and started to walk slowly to Hero's personal office where I he was gonna return to after his meeting with the ministers and I was pretty glad when Barb didn't stop me but followed me instead. I exhaled immediately and landed a soft knock on the door but there was no responses for a while until I was about to go in, then I saw Hero appearing at the corner of the hallway with three different Ghafils behind him all dressed in cloak with their normal clothes hidden beneath it...they were conversing really fast in Ghafilan until Hero's eyes fell on me. "You're dismissed" He commanded and his subordinates nodded bowing for me in courtesy before they immediately turned and left. "You should be in your room" Hero muttered as he slowly walked up to me, he wasn't looking so good...he looked like he hasn't been sleeping, his skin was pale and his eyes were pretty much lifeless as I guess they were fighting to keep him awake. "What brings you here?" He inquired as I just stood staring at him intensely as I took time to study his features and gestures. "You need some rest" I finally voiced. "I can't have that now...I have a lot of things doing- "Then let me help you" I offered. "You're already helping me, by carrying my child" Hero moved closer placing a hand on my bump. "I can do more Hero, if you let me" I immediately held him hands on my bump and his eyes met mine, the tiredness in them frustrates me. "I want to let you but I have to keep you safe, it's my highest priority right now?" I sighed in exasperation. "Will you at least have a proper rest before you continue with anything? You look really pale" I commented and Hero sighed looking into my eyes for a brief second before nodding, I know he wanted his rest too but he hasn't been able to have any because he hadn't had any persuasion. "Just for some minutes" He said as we both moved into his office, I didn't understand why we turned to his office instead...I mean we could have just headed for his bedroom but I get to understand why later. Immediately we were in his office which was designed spherically, we passed by his floating working table, working space, shelves, chairs, into a little corridor which opened up into his room. "Nice" I commented immediately we were in his room. "Never thought you linked your room to your office- "You mean my working room?" I narrowed my eyes at him in question. "It's the same thing as an office" I slumped my shoulders and he smiled. Pulling me into his arms and moving us to the bed. "I miss you" He cooed before he pulled me into his arms and while coiling on me. "I miss you too Hero" That was what it takes for him to sleep off. He must have been really exhausted. After few minutes of being held tight in his arms, I decided to move back to his working room as he called it, he didn't want to let go and groaned after I finally pulled away, I slowly walked back to his office and started to go through his stuffs, since it was his personal space many things were left scattered on the table, most were plans and sketches of the camp site the migrated Ghafils were sheltered, then few looked like satellite scans, but something actually caught my attention. It was a letter. I took it from the desk and decided to go through it, it was a letter from the ex- prince Kee, wanting Hero to come to a place alone...he had Nio...his brother!. -----------------
