My Rebirth as an alien Queen

Episode 16-mending old wounds.

After the sudden encounter with Hero's brothers, we were forced to find a perfect place to talk. Hero didn't want to talk out in the open so we kinda like rented a whole restaurant to do the talking...yes you heard me...a restaurant, something I didn't expect to exist in a world like Zullion. It turns out Zullion had more resemblances to earth than I would imagine, and except that in this world...they have only two kings and these two kings control the two races of the Ghafil world... chiefs were controlling minor towns and clans but all answer to their kings...they were the supreme authority compared to earth which every continent, countries have their leaders. The capital city of the green Ghafil race is called Arinxon which we were presently in, it was the richest city in the whole galaxy and I could tell by the advanced technology I saw around, and just like every city on earth, They also have their slums here...the slums were the poor and lower Ghafils lived. It was a whole different world with a similar system to earth.

Hero had been staring at the cup of blue coffee on his table for the past 20mins and I realized if I didn't urge him to say something, he was definitely bound to say nothing, so I poke him by the shoulder urging him to talk to his anxious and eager brother's. I suddenly stiffened as he had managed to connect our Fils since we both sat side by side on the far corner bench of the restaurant, opposite us were his two brothers who were also tearing down at the table but I could sense their anxiousness and nervousness.

'I don't know what to tell them or how to start Claire' Hero communicated to me with the FIL connection.

'Start out naturally, like how they've been doing?' I suggested and he cleared his throat raising his head for the first time.

"How...have you both been?" Hero asked and the brother's face softened glad Hero started politely, I could guess they were waiting for the worst from Hero.

"We have been fine your lordship" One of them smiled and Hero nodded.

'Act sympathetic, tell them you know it must have been pretty hard for them' I suggested to Hero and I felt his confidence getting revived.

"It must have been hard" Hero voiced and the brothers forced a smile, I guess it had been really hard for them.

'Tell them you knew they didn't deserve it' I started off another conversation for Hero and he repeated all I told him to say.

"I know you didn't deserve what I did to you, I found out too late you didn't and...I hate myself for being blinded by my anger. I should have relaxed and think...no words can portray to you how sorry I am to have wrongfully accused you" Hero and I watched his brother's expression closely and I could feel them fighting tears, it was like they were pretty glad that the truth finally came to light.

"I'm sorry" I made Hero apologize and this time they couldn't stop their tears, they sobbed...extremely glad their wrong accusation had been thrown off them.

"I'm so sorry I was tricked into believing you did it" I continue to guide Hero on what to say and soon all of them were in tears.

"We would never hurt the queen" The second cried as he stared at me while I flash him a smile instead.

"We would never do anything to hurt you either" Nio added and I felt the scene was too emotional for me to watch, though I watched it anyway since I didn't have much of a choice.

"The culprit was Zioko" The two brothers were not shocked by the news which surprised me.

"After you banished us, we suspected it was him because that night he came to our room to talk to us, we...casually chatted away having no idea the princess cure had been hidden in our room. We tried to tell you several times but you wouldn't believe us, when we started to investigate on our own We found out a lot of things. Prince Zioko is forming a rebellion army, recruiting able Ghafils and promising them huge money...we tried to tell you about the rumors on different occasions, we sent a lot of messages to the palace but no reply came, we tried so much to contact you both it felt it was blocked on purpose" One of the brother's explained and Hero looked out of the window were his guards and servant stood keeping an eye on him and his environment.

"The palace has been penetrated" Hero admitted the sad truth. None of the people working in the palace could be trusted anymore.

"I tricked Zioko into believing the recent assassination attempt on me was because of you...I might increase security at your fort to keep you in but I want you to find a way of sneaking out, I need evidence of Zioko's crimes. Together will work to bring him to justice and I promise to punish him for everything he had done and made me do...brother, I sincerely asked for your help" Hero was pleading and it looked like something the brothers had always wanted, walking alongside Hero, so because of that, they were quick to say yes. Hero then smiled and turned to me, who had been enjoying the free family show.

"Claire, these are my brothers...Kio and Nio" Hero introduced hand moving from the Ghafil on the right, whom I assume was Kio and the one on the left which I concluded was Nio. I wasn't expecting that, I didn't see it coming at all and by the look on the two brother's faces, it appears they already knew it wasn't Aira sitting with them.

"It's nice to finally meet you" I smiled looking at the Alien male who seems delighted as well.

"I must say, what I saw you did back there was very courageous of you" Nio spoke softly to me in English and I must say, the two are both very nice.

"Thank you" Accepting the boys' flattering compliments about how strong I was.

"I'm going to make it harder for you than before but trust me, it'll soon be over" Hero assured but his brothers were already willing.

"If you must leave this place...leave with a gloomy expression, if truly my servants have been compromised, I'm sure the news that I met you today will reach big brother so I think you should show that I scolded and yell at you" Hero didn't like the sound of what he said but the look on his brothers' face showed me they understood his plight. They did something unexpected though, they went on their knees in front of Hero.

"From now on we are your humble servants" Hero wanted to bring them up to their feet but the watchful eyes of his servants and guards stopped him.

"I promise to make up for everything I'd done to you brother" His brothers' smiled and he stood walking out on them with them on their knees struggling not to look back at them.

"That was a really brave thing you did back there" I commended Hero after we got to the carriage, ready to leave.

"I wouldn't have done it without you, because of that...I'm going to be showing you to our Harbour" I couldn't believe my ears, I got into the carriage with Hero and we drove out of the market where we had been the whole time. Like before, I watched out the window so excited as the beautiful alien city pass by me, I watched the Ghafils going about their daily life activities like they had no worries. I enjoyed the scene so much that I got more curious.

"Don't you have schools on Arinxon?" I couldn't help asking and that made Hero laugh.

"Of course we do, how would little Ghafils become engineers and chemists if we don't?" Hero chuckled and I turned back to the window.

"But some kids are not in school-

"That's because they are not old enough yet" Hero put in and I grinned watching the street again but then we started to leave the houses behind and all that was left were trees with different colors of leaves. We kept getting farther into the secluded area until I begin to feel goosebumps all over me.

"You don't have to be nervous...it's just the Harbour, it's at the far end of the city" Hero assured and I relaxed a little, then we reached a place where many domes like structure were, there were free grounds that looked like airplane landing just that they don't use airplane here but ships, my jaw dropped when my eyes fell on parked space ships completely different from ours but very similar to the ship that had landed on earth when they invaded for the apocalypse, recalling that event made my blood ran cold.
