Episode 1-I'm not dead?

1147 Words
I groaned from my sleep slowly feeling my consciousness returning to me. Was I in heaven? I asked as I struggled to open my eyes. I was probably in heaven, I never thought I would be...maybe it's just a gift of saving the world. I smiled as I suddenly flustered my eyes open to found myself in a large bedroom. The architecture and designs were way different from any I've known. The bed was floating...my brows instantly furrowed at the realization. The bed was floating...no holds, no stands or legs. I stood from the bed finding myself in a white soft and gleaming material. The dress was beautiful but I needed to clarify my thoughts about the bed. I bent and for some reason, I felt taller than usual, not that I mind. I bent to check under the bed and I saw just a white stand fixated into the soft ground. That stand was the only thing holding up the bed. How weird is that? I asked myself subconsciously and moved to the chest beside me, I draw out a drawer to see the different colors of dress with similar material to the one I had on. I couldn't believe it, It was really amazing. There was a tea set on the table and the shape was kinda weird I mean who would design a cup to have a snake handle, not logical. I walked into the room to see floating cushion chairs; none have legs...just like the bed. Even the table had no legs. I must be dreaming I declared to myself before looking out the huge glass window. There were so many houses, weird houses seen from where I stood. All have different shimmering colors. The sight was beautiful but something else caught my attention, it was my reflection on the glass because the sunlight couldn't make it out and right before I could concentrate on the image I heard the door slide open and I turned to see a very familiar person or Alien made his way in. "Hero?" My brows furrowed in obvious confusion as I saw him move in with a flowing golden robe on him. He smiled at me but I was in no mood to return it. "What are you doing here?" My question had him halting. "I...is that Claire? In there?" He asked and I frowned. "Are you dead too?" His face paled at my question but he merely sighed. Seeing his tentacles knot up I knew he was upset or sad. "I'm not dead Claire; I'm very much alive...like you- "I died Hero, you know that. If this is heaven...how did you even get in?" Hero sighed at my question again before moving towards my bed opposite to my bed was a blank white wall but with Hero placing his hands on them, a closet emerged from it; a closet filled with dresses and alien-like shoes of course. "What's going on?" I asked but Hero among the racks that filled up the closet turn a plain wood-like structure over to show the mirror but before I could walk over to it Hero walked over to me. "You don't notice we are almost the same height...I mean I used to be taller than you when I transform" Hero hinted but I still had no idea what he was talking about. "I don't know what you mean? What is it, Hero? Why am I still alive? I was supposed to be dead. You freed my soul, I felt myself being forced out of my body. How could I be alive?" I asked but instead of responding he took my hands in his and suddenly I felt this strange magnetic pull to him. A pull that was soothing and appealing, a pull that calmed my nervous mind, a pull that made me feel drowsy and hot...a strange kinda hot. "What's happening to me?" I questioned holding his hands tighter feeling a strange serene feeling overwhelm me. Hero suddenly backed away from me breathing heavily; he must have felt it too. "What's going on?" I asked feeling my heart race in confusion again. I've felt it before...this feeling of fear lapping with confusion. I've felt it...I moved over to the mirror and felt my whole body go numb. I had tentacles, lots of them all packed behind my strange wide and short ear. My nose was really small and I was certain anyone looking at me from afar will think I didn’t have a nose and my eyes were hollow and dark... glinting green but my skin, unlike the Ghafil green skin, was plain white, ghost-white…whiter than porcelain. I was extremely tall and my structure was more human. I couldn't take the realization that dawned on me so I screamed, I didn't know but I felt this strange energy leave me and it broke the glasses all around the room in effect but my body weakened at the impact and soon I was falling my eyes slowly closing but thankfully I didn't hit the floor, Hero caught me. I dreamt of my time with Nicholas, my only true love that had come back with me and left with me. Nicholas during the Ghafil apocalypse the alien brought had returned with me from the past to save the world and when our deed was done and I was dying, he chose to leave with me. He could have stayed, live a normal human life, but he chose to leave because I was also leaving...I was going to be dead forever. And I know, I was in an alien's body...what could be worse than that? I was still thinking of it when the warmth I had felt when I had touched Hero returned. I moaned from my sleep as the feeling spread through me and it takes a minute to figure I was being caressed by the arm. I forced my eyes open and backed away from Hero who had sat in front of my bed with his hand on my shoulders softly caressing me. "I- "Stay away from me!" I shrieked and moved farther away from Hero. Only God knows what he did to me. I was human, I was dead...but now I'm trapped in a ridiculous Alien body. "Claire I'm sorry...I- "Stay away from me Hero...stay away from me" I cried. Hero was a sweet Alien, the legitimate heir to the throne of the Ghafil. I trusted and cared for him because with his help we defeated his stepbrother who had wanted to take over the earth. I felt he was responsible for me being in this body because he was powerful. Being the king of the race of aliens called Ghafils, he was strangely powerful. I never hold his nature against him because he was different but I hate him for this, I hate him! ----------------
