As soon as we arrived at the glass building towering the city, we rushed in the elevator, and soon we were dragged to the end of it by the number of people that kept going in and out of it, and since we were heading to the last floor, we would be here for a while.
I was pushed closer and closer to Ryan until my left arm was in constant touch with his right arm. I just stayed silent for the whole ride, not even having anything good to say.
I started thinking about the goddamn project and the fact we had to be flying to Europe. I’ve never been there and, even if it’s just for business, I wanted to go.
