Coming to Aunt Celine’s family home without my uncle knowing about it feels like sheer betrayal. This man has been everything anyone would ask for in a parent. What in the world is going on with all of this suspicion? We have suspected him once before and he came out clean. I doubt we would find anytjingw this time too.
“Have you thought for a moment that he might actually be hust good at hiding his bad deeds?” Dion questioned.
I rubbed at my eyes not knowing what to say. Bracing myself for impact, i made my presence known in the house. And to my surprise, Aunt Celine’s mum, Lady Kate was the one who opened the door. The genuine warmth in her smile made me remember my aunt and it made my heart bleed.
“Awww, my king.” Lady Kate maoned pulling me into a warm embrace.
