Author’s POV
Callum ran with all of his strength through the woods not minding the discomfort he was feeling in his chest. All he wants to do is to get away from everything happening around him. Not having any appropriate person to share his plans with makes him feel very frustrated. And at the moment nothing is going his way.
His wolf protested at the hard push and that prompted him to go back to the house. After taking a bath, he got dressed and headed to the study. Two of his guards he had sent on a task had returned.
“Do you have any good news for me?” Callum asked with a stern expression.
Both men glanced discreetly at themselves, one of them finally gathered enough courage to respond.
“My lord, we couldn’t find her.” He said with restraint in his voice.
