Freya caressed her belly time and time again as she paced the room back and forth. Levi didn’t show up the day she had asked for him to come. She couldn’t sleep all through the night, the thought of Callum showing up in the middle of the night and ready to stick a knife in her chest.
She has to get rid of him soon or he will definitely bring a lot of problems to her. A person like Callum who is filled with ego wouldn’t let things slide so easily. Not after she promised to stick by his side. If not for him, she probably wouldn’t have been able to survive Ronan’s betrayal.
The door opened letting in Ava. The older woman had a worried look on her face. “My queen, why are you doing this? You shouldn’t be stressing yourself this way. It is not good for you and the baby.”
