6.I met Janos and his two Companymen guardians at the Level One restricted downchute again the next night. They were all wearing their Freemen disguises, but moving a bit more comfortably. Which didn’t really matter this time, I thought and smiled wryly. We retraced our previous night’s route, moving quickly through the Ruins and into Lil’ Casbah, where we were suddenly forced to stop at the intersection of two twisting, narrow, cobble-stoned alleyways by a herd of goats coming from my right, the easterly passage.
