"Be careful with what you imply in your words, Ripper, or I may not wait for the police to arrive. You broke into my lodging, no one would blame me for finishing you with my own hands after everything you’ve done. I would make sure they found you with a cut across your throat, just like the ones you leave on your victims," I hissed, biting and sharp like the blade I pressed again against his neck. "I’ll cut you slowly, so you feel every touch of my cold blade against your skin." A low and rough sound escaped his lips. That made me blink, disconcerted. An alarm went off inside my mind. I had chained the greatest criminal in the country in handcuffs and made him groan under the threat of my blade. Liquid fire ran through my veins instead of blood, traveling to the space between my legs.
