“Daniel?” I looked left and right, but no Daniel.”Daniel! Daniel!” I see the lifeless body frozen in a capsule. “Daniel!” 

I wake up breathing heavily. “Daniel!” I run to Daniels’s room. I throw open the door, I see him sleeping peacefully. I was able to breathe. I close the door silently. I walk down the stairs and see my other roommates. “Hey, bad dream again?” I look up, “Yep, what about you Sam, did you sleep well?” He looks up at the light, which is what he does when he thinks. “Honestly, I can’t remember my dream, so probably a good dream.” I turn around and head back upstairs. I open Daniels’s door slowly. I walk over to his bed and tap him to see if he would wake up. “Daniel,” I whisper, “you have to wake up.” He looks up and turns away. “Daniel, you have to wake up,” I say louder. He mumbles something I cant understand. I reach for his arm and pull him out of bed, “Hey, I was sleeping.” Daniels says annoyed. “Mad! Stop throwing Daniel out of bed!” I hear Sam scream. “Sorry, but that’s never going to happen.” I hear him yell” Okay, but he will have revenge one day.” I groan and look down. Daniel wasn’t there. “AH!” Daniel screams from behind me. I swing my arm behind me hitting Daniel in the throat. “ I forgot you scare punch,” Daniel says in pain. “Come On” I pull Daniel down the stairs. Sam sees me, “Hey Daniel, How’d you sleep?” Daniel looks up “Good until she threw me out of bed.” Sam laughs. “Wheres Aubrey?” Sam finishes chewing his bite of pancake,” She went shopping. She left when you went upstairs to ruin Danny’s sleep” I glare at him, “I didn’t ruin his sleep. Daniel, did I ruin your sleep?” He looks at me than Sam, “Kind of?” Then I got angry. “You are dead.” Sam leaps from his chair and holds me back. “Mad chill!” Daniel runs upstairs, Mad jerks out of Sam’s grip and bolts up the stairs. She skips steps with Sam right behind her. She reaches Daniel’s door. ”Ugh. He locked it.” She goes to her room and grabs a Philip screwdriver. She goes to the lock on Daniels’s door and unlocked it. She looks for Daniel with anger, then calms down to know exactly where he was hiding. She looks under the bed, only to see a scared boy. “Daniel!” She says with anger. Daniel moves farther to the back. Maddie grabs his arm and pulls him out from under the bed, she throws him across the room. She marches out to her room and slams the door behind her. Daniel sighs. “You have to give her space,” Sam says with a sad look on his face. Daniel looks up,” I always feel bad. She has a dark past. Anger issues too.” Sam looks at Maddie’s door and heads downstairs. Daniel just stares at her door, while a tear slips down his cheek.

“Daniel, want something to eat?” Aubrey yells from downstairs. Daniel walks down the stairs looking down. He looks up, his eyes are red from crying. “I can’t eat, not with Maddie not coming out of her room.” Aubrey looks at him then looks up, at the stairs, “I’ll talk to her. You know, girls, one on one.” Daniel nods and heads to the couch to watch TV with Sam. Aubrey knocks on the door, “Maddie, it’s me Aubrey.” She says softly. She opens the door slowly, only to see Maddie punching her punching bag, which she does when she is angry. “How long have you been doing that for?” Maddie doesn’t answer and just keeps punching. Maddie stops, and turns around, glaring at Aubrey. “Get. Out.” Maddie says with anger. Aubrey runs out of the room and down the stairs. Her hair is crazy and her shirt is messed up. “What happened to you?” Sam says leaning from the couch. “Maddie is mad right,” she takes a breath “now.” Daniel laughs, and looks up the stairs, and sees no one. Daniels sighs again.
