A Glimpse of Agni

What the hell was wrong with him? It was clear that he was not able to derive any joy from hurting Jwala, infact when he had seen the fat drops of tears dripping from her face he had felt like the worst kind of man alive, atleast Jwala had successfully proven her point that he was an uncaring, selfish and ruthless jerk.

Why had he forced himself on her? Admittedly it was only a kiss and being her husband, he had all the right to do so, however in all of his twenty-nine years of existence, he had never forced himself on anyone, women used to throw themselves at his feet.

Agni banged his hand on his study table in a sudden bout of fury, Why? why was she affecting him on so many levels!

"You should go in brother, if I go in he will incinerate me! " Salil rasped

Vayu, Salil and Puhumi were standing outside the door of Agni's study , Contemplating who should go inside to face Agni's fury

"Not me too brother, he still likes me" Puhumi smirked

"Look at her all smug" Salil rolled his eyes at Puhumi's expression

"Great so I have to be the lamb who will have to go for slaughter " Vayu sighed, as he opened the library door

The blast of heat, rolled them back on their feet

"Ahh, I cannot bear this, I am leaving , this is no fun for my constitution " Salil turned and left from there

"Who has a death wish!? " Agni growled angrily

"Sister some support?"

"Sorry Brother" Puhumi too turned tail and left

"traitors! " Vayu grumbled, as he entered, the blasted oven, which Agni had made

"Cool down Brother" Vayu said as he entered, hands held in front of him in a surrendering gesture.

"What the hell do you want!? " Agni was looking fazed, his eyes were too focused, such focus which could burn you on the spot

"For now, I would appreciate if you calm down, you have made an oven of this room literally! "

Heat waves were rolling of Agni, he knew if he didn't calm down soon, he may burn down his precious palace. But just the thought of Jwala was enough to ignite his anger again

"Agni I have a good news for you ,we are leaving in a day's time, ones we make arrangements "

Now that had an immediate effect on him .The heat waves rolling of him, which had made his study a heater, had cooled to some extent

"You bastard, there is no need for such an obvious proof of your joy " Vayu cringed.

"What help do you need in your arrangements? My staff is at your disposal, other than that if you want any souvenir from Jwalana -" Now the study's temperature was somewhat normal

"Your happiness has no bounds" Vayu rolled his eyes

"Maharaj! Maharaj!" Altaf came running

He bowed quickly im front of Agni

"You better have a valid reason to burst in my private study without knocking! "

He was shuffling on his feet

"Maharaj! Maharaj! "

"Spit it out man,now!"

"The Queen has left the Castle "he burst out

What the f**k!? how dare she!?

"Agni calm down! " Vayu hurried towards Agni

But the transformation had begun , the curse striked again
