Her head felt thick and heavy, but it was laying against something that was so comfy, Charlie just couldn’t bring herself to complain about it. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open seeing an expanse of twilight sky above her, perfectly speckled with twinkling stars that were dim compared to the full moon that hung alongside them. The soft trickling of water and bed of grass beneath her told her where she was and whose lap she was resting on, but her body and mind felt at peace, and she didn’t fight it.
