I had just put my clothes away when I heard a knock on my door making me drop a dress I was putting in my closet. "Come in." I said returning to my work, Adrian walked in then all smiles. "Hello princess how's it hangin?" he said as he sat down on my bed watching me put a blouse in the closet while he waited for me to answer him. I turned and smiled at him as I sat beside him and leaned back against the wall. "Oh you know just moving in, what do you want?" I asked honestly curious, he turned to look at me before he started laughing. "I came to get to know you silly." He said simply, I looked into his green eyes and saw nothing but pure honesty in them. I looked away quickly as he reached his hand up to brush a strand of hair behind my ear. "Well ask away I guess but I warn you, I was raised thinking I was human." I said looking back at him as I drew my knees to my chest. He looked at me and smiles softly before he scooted back to sit closer to me taking my hand in his lacing our fingers together as he let out a sigh. "I knew that much but I want to know about your social life, you know boyfriends and such." I was quiet for a moment, back home I was kind of a loner I mean boys never seemed to be attracted to me which is why when Adrian showed his interest in me, I didn't know what to do. "I... Well back home I didn't have a social life." I said looking down at my knees embarrassed. He was silent for a short time making me wonder if I had just scared him off, when I felt a tug on my shoulder, I looked up and was pulled into Adrian's arms. I embraced him back burying in his shoulder enjoying the way he held me in his strong arms. Adrian and I spent the whole night talking and getting to know one another, he was the first to fall asleep, he had his head on my lap and I was still leaning against the wall, I woke up first and though creepy as it may sound I watched him sleep deciding on how much I really liked this sleeping angel on my lap, the same man that was now looking up at me smiling. "Good morning Kiera." He said before yawning, I laughed softly as he lifted our hands up studying them noticing the little scars on my wrist. "What are these from?" He asked gently tracing the scars, I looked away as I explained. "Sometimes my mind over whelms me and I get so upset that I feel like I need to cut myself." my voice broke on the last words. He placed his hand on my cheek forcing me to look at him, his eyes full of worry. "Do you know what element you specialize in?" he asked, his eyes never leaving my face. I remembered the instructors testing me before and saying something about a spirit user. "Yeah the magic teacher said I was a spirit user." I said absent mindedly running my fingers through his hair making him smile. He looked at me for a moment before he sat up and pulled me onto his lap and held me tight. "I want you to promise me something, Okay?" he asked his voice so serious that I had to look up at him to make sure he was okay. "Alright what is it?" I asked brushing my fingers along his arm waiting for him to answer. "I want you to promise me that if you ever feel like hurting yourself, you'll find me, the depression is a side effect of spirit." He leaned down slowly so that our foreheads were touching, I looked into those deep green eyes knowing I could promise him anything. "Alright, I promise." I said realizing how close he was to me before he leaned closer and kissed me, I froze before kissing him back. He pulled back first smiling before he started laughing. "Aren't you glad it's Saturday?" he asked brushing my hair out of my face. I smiled nodding. "So where does that put us?" I asked blushing. He thought about that for a moment. "Will you go out with me Kiera?" Cliff Hanger ♥
