Antonio's POV
"Ah... King Antonio Larson.... It took you long enough to get here. I thought it would be one of the other kings, but I guess luck was in my favor, huh?"
"Who the hell are you?"
"You will figure that out anyway. I mean... you are here to take me away and destroy the operation that I included myself in, right? Or are you only here to determine the location of your wife?"
I glared at him angrily and one of the girls brought me a chair.
"Please... take a seat. We have a bit of things to chat about until the police arrive along with the international officials."
"Where is she?"
"Well... is that any way to talk to your host? Don't you want to know why we do what we do? Who I am? Anything else that does not include your wife."
"Currently... no. All I know is you guys are probably a piece of scum that is happy with the fact that you guys are selling women to whomever they are sold to and complete your business as such. However, you and your lackeys, who are well aware, kidn*pped the queen of the Larson kingdom. Now I have to be here instead of there trying to track her down. However, due to this set up, I guess you were waiting for me. How did you know I would get here or one of my bros would have gotten here? "
"Says the person who did the exact same thing. Yeah, we know about Amelia, she was sold to you and you fell in love...married her... she helped take down the royals and then went to travel after you brutally ripped out her heart. You and the other kings along with your sister."
"... You know what you are right. I did do the exact same thing. The difference is, I took her from the hell whole she was forced to call it a life. I gave her a new home. A new chance to make sure that her future was bright. I gave her a second chance. What you guys are doing is something completely different. You guys are snatching, k********g women from their peaceful lives and ruining other peoples lives and giving them hell. So, I am not going to ask again. Where is she?!"
"Well..." he started while twirling a bracelet around his finger. I studied the bracelet, and it was the same bracelet I gave to Amelia. I motioned for him and he re-tracked his arm back, while holding the bracelet close.
"Lets see... she came with this bracelet on after brutally biting one of the guys who work here and, of course, I had a chat with her. Told her all was lost and that this little stunt she was pulling was not going anywhere. She claims that she didn't know there was a tracker in there, so in the end, I took it anyway. I could have given it back to give her some false hope, but where is the fun in that? She had the look of a warrior undefeated. She had her head held high thinking you were coming to get her quickly. However, that ended when the auction happened and he took her.
"Who is this he, character? Where was she taken?"
"And give away all the fun? Where's the fun in that?"
"Tell me where she is!"
"You know what is the best part about having her as a guest. The fact that she was in that cage, helpless, and her outfit brought out the right curves in her. I mean, if I were to have bought her... the things that could have been done would have been endless. Instead of your name, she would have screamed mi-"
Instantly, my fist collided with his face. The repeated punching to his skull was endless. All I saw was red. All I wanted to do was kill him. Kill him for what could have happened. Kill him for the mockery. Kill him for being an asshole! The guys tried to pull me off of him, but I flung myself forward and ran back to him. I punched and punched. Blood covered my fists as they were just going blow for blow. The guys finally were able to pull me off of him and restrain me. They got in contact with the authorities, along with my sister. I got away from the men and I could feel the tears coming down my face. The thought of her feeling like she couldn't tackle the world. The thought of her even thinking that I was not on my way or that I wouldn't be able to find her. To even have her think that I would fail her is the worst. How could I have let this happen, or how could I have let her get far away from me?
I went outside and left the facility. Then it hit me. The heat signatures I saw on that device. I don't think anyone has spoken about it. I looked around to see everyone was busy dealing with... something to the point I couldn't break their attention. I picked up my weapon and pulled out the heat signature device and began to follow it as closely as possible. It was kind of hard to do, since many people were now moving around the mansion. However, even though it was hard, I still searched. I went to the center hall and didn't see anything. Not a soul, no figure of being scared. Nothing. Nothing was coming off in the mansion. I know I am not going crazy. I dialed Fred's number and began to search more of the premises.
"Fred!"
"Yellow? How can I help?"
"I came to this place, I saw a bunch of heat signatures. We found a couple of girls, but I swore there were more. I need you to do a search, drone search right now!"
"Do you have a drone with you currently?"
"I packed one in the bag." I said, rushing over to our equipment." I went into the bag and pulled out another bag with a small drone in it. I turned it on.
"Fred, I got it."
"Great, all I need to do is hack into the database and go from there. Is it ready to go?"
"Yeah, I turned it on, and I am placing it on the ground. Serial number is 2409A99234GHKF1."
"I'm in. What am I looking for?"
"Scan the area. See if someone is escaping with a large group of people. Or anything suspicious right now."
"Alrighty."
I watched as the drone took off, and I went back to search as much of the area as I could get to.
"Anything, Fred?"
"Noooot.... yet... no... I am going wider now..."
I started pacing around as much as possible and didn't find anything. I even went back into the mansion to see if I had missed anything. Anything that I would have looked over and thought nothing of it.
"Antonio! I got something. Underground passage from what it looks like. There is a truck 50 meters out from your location. Women are being loaded into the truck with bags on their heads. Three men are standing and moving the girls."
"What direction?"
"If you go into the basement there should be a door. However, Antonio, at this rate, you would not be able to catch them because they are loading them in too fast. You can't catch them on foot right now."
"Who said I was going on foot?"
I turned and ran to one of the cars that we arrived in. I noticed I started to hear whirling sounds and the wind was pushing everything as hard as possible in one direction. I looked up, covering my face a bit, and noticed the helicopter that was trying to land. My sister's head peaked out, but I didn't have time for a hello or a goodbye. I hopped into the car and started it up. You could hear the engine roaring with excitement.
"Fred! Get me to that truck!"
"Okay, the truck is starting to pull off. It would be on the main road in about 5 minutes. If you take this route, I am going to send it to the car... right... Now! Take this route, and you could catch up to the car as quickly as possible and probably have the authorities with you, because I know you are going to be driving like a mad man."
The route was sent, and I didn't give it any time. The helicopter landed, and my sister jumped out of the helicopter and ran for the car. I waved her off and placed the car in drive and drove off to catch that truck. My foot pressed on the gas pedal. Shifting the gears to move this car to the fastest I could get it. Dodging traffic as much as possible, and with luck, there were not a lot of cars on the road that Fred picked out for me. Just as he predicted though, the authorities were on my tail in less than a minute of me driving.
The car started to ring, and I looked over to see it was Maurice.
"Car, answer the phone and add Fred to the call and merge it."
"Alright sir."
"Dude! What are you doing?! Weren't you supposed to be on the mission to scout the house?"
"I told you that the authorities would be on your case soon. Need help with the traffic signs and the lights?"
"Maybe, but I am on a mission. I got Fred to do some scouting for something that I could have missed while I was there. We found some dude who technically knew one of us was coming to the house, but while he was distracting me and the rest, he had a group of girls that were there moved and put into a truck, so they could give us the slip."
"So, I'm guessing this high chase that is currently on the news right now is you trying to catch up with that truck."
"Of course, but I am in a smaller car and this car cannot get that truck to stop if I had the chance to do so. I need help, which is why you and Fred are on the phone. Fred, give me some solutions... that would not cause harm to anyone on this road!"
I screamed, turning the car to dodge the coming traffic.
"I could change the lights and cause more of the authorities to come, but I think that truck could bust through that."
"Not unless it was a pile of cars. The truck would hit it and the truck would have to stop. Hoping that it won't cause any damage to the women in the truck."
"Maurice, do whatever needs to be done and bring the detective. I have a feeling we are going to need her in a minute."
I was catching up with the truck. White large truck, two-seater in the front of the truck. The tires look as if I could shoot them, but I don't want this truck flipping out of control and then someone gets hurt in the back. I zoomed to the front of the truck and, just as I predicted, two men in front of the truck. One of them looked into my car and picked up a radio. I could see his mouth moving while he kept glaring at me. Next thing I knew, he pulled out a pistol and began trying to shoot out my tires. I slowed my car down, luckily dodging the assault, and zoomed back up to the front.
"Dude, are they shooting?!" Fred questioned with excitement.
"Yeah! Maurice, please tell me you are on the road!"
"Yeah, I'm on the road. Fred, send me a location where a police car pile up could happen that could correspond with me and Antonio's route."
"If Antonio could get the truck to go to Springmanship Road, then Maurice, you could get a pile-up happening over there. I would wish you both luck on this one."
"I could try to get the truck over there, but give me a second. I need to bait them." I said as I zoomed forward. I needed to get them off of this road and get them onto the one I needed. I looked at the map that popped up on the screen and noticed there was a turn off the highway. I started turning the car left as if I were going to hit the truck and the driver slowly took the bait. He then tried to crash into my car, but I hit the brakes a bit, and it missed me entirely. I drove under the truck and went onto the other side. The driver came for the bait of trying to hit me again, and I zoomed back and drove back under the truck and came onto the drivers side of the truck. He opened his window and tried to shoot at my car. He was paying attention to me to the point that the passenger had to take over the wheel and turn the car, so they wouldn't hit someone else.
The cop car hit the back of my car, making it swerve just a bit. I speeded up and so did they. They are not trying to let me go, which is what I needed to get them to stay on my ass and do something with their lives like make an arrest. I have about 20 cars behind me now. They were even shooting at the back of my car. One of the bullets shattered the rear view glass. I ducked and swerved my car a bit and pressed on the gas once more.
"Antonio the turn!"
I looked ahead and there it was. The turn that could change this entire situation. I am going to miss it though. We were driving too fast, and it would be a miracle if a big truck hit this one. Or something medium-sized at least. And by some miracle, a black SUV hit the white truck and the white truck swerved a bit, going into the turn that we needed it to go into. I slowed down a bit and drove onto the driver's side of the truck and watched the scene before me. The SUV drove away and then came back to hit the truck into the turn and forced it to turn without tilting the truck. I was staring at the SUV while trying to figure out who the hell this was and where they came from. I looked at the plates and my eyes widened. It was mine! Who the hell is driving my favorite truck?! I know it wasn't Maurice! He should be on the other side!
The truck, MY SUV and I made it into the turn, and we started to come off the road, but it was a success! We got into the city. Traffic was going to be insane! I zoomed ahead to the driver's side of my SUV and when the windows rolled down, I couldn't believe my eyes.
"You didn't think we would miss all the fun now, did you?!"
"Alex! And what do you mean WE?!"
"I am so going to kill you for leaving me at the scene, Brother?!"
I looked over and saw my sister with her fist boiling in the air with a scrunched up angered face. I shrunk back in my chair and listened for the call that was about to come through.
I picked the call and added them on the line with the others.
"Antonio! Have you lost your mind?! You are going to be a criminal after all of this is over! What do you have to say for yourself?"
"Sister... I know I am in trouble, and I am sorry that I left you at the scene, but uh... there are women in the back of this truck, so be careful. We need to get them to drive into the intersection of Springmanship Road. I'll explain everything else!"
They nodded their heads and Alex took off. We are on both sides of the truck. Alex was dodging the on-coming traffic on his side while I kept my car steady as possible.
"Maurice, what's your position?!"
"We're almost there. The police are on our side, so there shouldn't be any trouble. How's it going on your end?"
"We are coming up Backman road. 10 blocks out for the most part," Alex answered, while in the background you heard Nia screaming how she was going to kill us all.
It was good to get this going. The truck started to speed up, but we kept up with it. It turned to hit me on the sidewalk and it worked. I kept honking my horn warning people that I was coming. There was no way I was losing this damn truck and failing once again. Once the street came up, I drove back into the street, dodging the people who were walking in the middle of the street on a green light. I ducked again, turning to see the passenger police officer holding a shotgun that was pointed towards my car. I hit the brakes, backing into their car, damaging my back and their front, and continued to speed towards the truck.
"Alex, right!"
"On it!"
Alex swerved the SUV into the truck and held onto it until the truck turned to the right and continued into traffic.
"You guys are doing great!"
"A police blockage has been set up. Pedal to the medal people!"
"That's if I don't get killed first!"
I made the turn and some of the cars continued on the other road but, for the others that were a bit out, turned along with me.
We kept driving and soon was approaching the intersection. I had too many people trying to either to get me to crash this car or trying to kill me with a bullet. The cops behind us were behind us all, targeting all three of us so the plan for that worked out nicely. However, I would like to see the assailants in cuffs before I see the light.
The intersection came up and we saw the police blockage. The truck started to speed up. I am guessing their plan was to push past the blockage. There wasn't much time to think of a plan.
"Alex! It's speeding up!"
"I know! Imma hit it onto the side and see if I can make it crash!"
"I'm gonna go in front of it. Try to slow it down and confuse it the best way possible."
"Go, Go, Go!"
I drove to the front of the truck and I knew this was going to backfire on so many levels, but it was worth a shot. I lined my car up with the truck and immediately hit the brakes as hard as I could. The truck hit the back of my car and my body jerked forward, hitting the steering wheel. Even though the pain was there, I still kept my feet on the brakes.
Alex turned onto another street and I could feel the impact of his car hitting us was going to be a b***h. All I could think was this better work, or we are all screwed.
I looked back and continued to hold the truck back. I looked forward, and the police barricade was ready. They started to aim for the truck but some of the shots hit my car. I ducked but still kept my feet on the brakes. Next thing I heard was a large crash and I bet that it was Alex hitting the truck because I stopped hearing the screeching sound of the truck basically running over my car.
Everything had stopped. I slowly got out of the car. Police were rushing towards the truck from the front. Police were rushing to me, Alex and Nia from the back. I raised my hands and went to a spot where they could detain me. I saw one of them coming to put handcuffs on me and the others, and we didn't put up a fight.
"Hold it! Leave the kings and queens alone." I turned and saw the detective walking over to us, holding her badge up for the officers to see. They lowered their weapons.
"Go process the truck!" The officers left us, and she came up to us. At first, she seemed angry, but she held out her hand with a smile on her face. I looked at her confused for a second, but I shook her hand firmly.
"Thanks for the help. Hopefully, we can put some families at ease with the work you guys have done."
"It was a team effort, if I must say."
My sis, Alex and Maurice walked over to my side and next thing I felt was a punch to the stomach and my sister blowing "smoke" off her hands. I dropped to the floor, holding my stomach, and looked up at her.
"You do another dangerous stunt like this, I will have your head sir! I have already married into one kingdom, I don't need a headache of having to deal with another."
I stood on my feet and looked over at Alex.
"Hey man... better you than me, okay? You are lucky I got to that site when I did, even though I had trouble on my own."
"Yeah! Y'all got everyone going nuts by the way." The detective said while looking over at Alex. "An explosion? Really... you couldn't have kept that quiet or something?"
"It wasn't my fault! They knew we were coming."
"Wait, they knew you were coming as well?"
"Yeah... when we got there, the team and I were going to breach and we did. We went in, searched around like procedure and the more we started to explore, uh we realized that this was a whole set up and a trap. And it confirmed it when we saw the bomb that was placed in the center of the floor."
"A bomb in the warehouse?"
"Yeah, see check this out."
