Chapter 1

----Stassi---- I wake up from my slumber, panting as I try to catch my breath. I've been having the same dream night after night. I am too afraid to tell anyone because I've always heard, "that if you tell someone your dreams, they will come true." I do not want this particular dream to come true, I just wish I knew what it meant. I've been having the same dream for the past month, ever since I turned 18. I don't know what these dreams mean or what they are trying to tell me, but I know one thing for sure... These dreams are not good. My dad who is getting up there in age, seems to be worried that something is coming but won't tell me. All he says is, "That one day, I will understand." Before I get the chance to ask him what he means, he always leaves the room. It is almost Christmas time and I can't wait to spend it with my family. I come home from work to find luggage in the living room. On closer look, these luggage are mine. I am quite stumped as to why my luggage are packed and in the living room. My mom comes in with tears in her eyes, she gives me such a sorrowful look, before hugging me and retreating to her bedroom. "Daddy!" I yell out, hoping he would come out with some answers but he never shows. I look around a little only to notice that he is nowhere to be found. As I look around the house, I hear tires screeching to a halt; it must be my dad. I briskly walk to the front door to open to only see a man I don't know nor do I recognize from anywhere. This man has to be no taller than 6'3" luscious brown locks of hair and piercing green eyes, that light up beautifully when the sun hits them. "Who are you?" I ask him, folding my arms up over my chest. He doesn't answer. He stares at me like I am some sort of prize. Two men come from behind and walk past me, picking up my luggage and before I open my mouth to say anything, I am be picked up and tossed over his shoulders. I begin to kick, punch and scream, "Put me down!", but nothing affects this man, he doesn't move. I fill his muscles move through his shirt as he roughly places me in his 2018 Range Rover and buckles my seatbelt. He smiles at me as he brushes his finger against my cheek as tears stream down my face. He closes the doors and to my surprise, he has the child locks on, so I can't escape. ----Cooper---- As I have my driver pull into the driveway of the house where my bride-to-be waits, I notice it is a little run-down. Stassi's father really wasn't good at taking care of his finances; and it really showed. The car comes to a screeching halt; almost as if the driver didn't tend to stop. As I step out of the vehicle, the front door swings open and reveals the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. Her dad gave me a description of her, but it didn't do her any justice. She stood at 5'4", curves in all the right places with brown locks that touched her shoulders. Her blue-grey eye, piercing a hole through me as I stand there in awe of what is now mine. She asks me of who I am; knowing her father, he didn't tell her anything. Not of me or of the arrangement.  I smirk as I walk up to her, ignoring her question, tossing her over my shoulder. I smirk as I feel her squirm, kick and punch at me; which we all know doesn't affect me one bit. I place her in my car and before I close the door, I rub my finger against her cheek. I hear a car pull up to other side of the Range Rover and her dad steps out of the car, practically running to me. Darren (her dad) cries, "I didn't know you were taking her today! I didn't even get to say goodbye!" I snarl, "Well that is just too bad for you, now isn't it? You knew what was going to happen and you had all this time to tell her. I take it you didn't tell her, from the reaction I got just now?" "I thought it would be best if she didn't know. I love my daughter and I knew she would be heartbroken if you had killed me like you said you would!" he responded, coldly. In the background, you can hear thuds against the glass as Stassi tries to punch through them. "That girl is gonna get her ass whooped, if she doesn't stop that." I say. "I changed my mind, you can't have her. Release her at once!" Darren demanded but not fast enough. I pull my gun out from the back of pants and plant a bullet hole right in the middle of his forehead. "You see, I just can't do that. Now that I see her, I will never let her go again." I chuckled.
