I sat next to Kaelen in a dark classroom at the end of the hall from his locker. It was a few minutes to 10PM. I had Wildon eyeing the surveillance cameras and so far he reported no movement. I hoped that Adira and Declan were able to find something on their side too. All of this needed to end now. I peeked through the door once more and the hallway remained empty. “Alpha Malachi” Kaelen whispered. I turned to face him. “Yeah kid?” “I wanted to uh...to apologize about this whole mess.
