I cannot believe it has been two weeks since I have been in this tribe. Everyone has been fantastic and so welcoming, just like my parents’ pack. Everyone comes together like family and helps each other. I got into training which was fun, and I got to learn more moves, at first,

I was only allowed with Dimitri as I am un-marked, but he let up and let Damion and Sven the head trainer to help with my training as Dimitri was scared to hurt me, so I couldn’t learn. We were always at training together, I think Dimitri was worried I would get hurt. I learned some moves with Sven and we had a small spar to see where I was with training, and I think he was impressed. Katy and Conner joined us also, which was nice.

I have not trained with them in their dragon forms yet as damn these guys know how to fight and are strong! I did feel like I am back to when I first started training 10 years ago! It's so exciting to have new challenges!

It has been very quiet in the tribe I have not seen Michelle for a while since my first day here, which I am not going to lie it was lovely. Dimitri's mum Elodie had been asking me all questions about what type of dress I prefer, what colors I like, and all different things. I later found out that sneaky dragon was planning the ceremony for me to be crowned and be allowed to finally mate with Dimitri.

Acacius was grumbling one night at Elodie in the kitchen to take it easy and stop pushing, especially not to mention grandbabies, let us enjoy each other first, and how it would probably scare me off. Elodie didn't look happy, but when they started kissing, I knew to leave that conversation alone. They thought they were being quiet, but they don’t know how well my hearing is. Honestly, I could hear a mouse fart. I will not tell them as if it was a private conversation between them both. It was hard to explain why I was blushing.

I do not know when the ceremony will be. It is nothing like a normal ceremony that the other shifters do. Apparently, I will know on the day and what I must do as instructions will be given to me. I have been learning a lot with Dimitri, sometimes it is hard to concentrate for the both of us and ends up in a make out season.

He has been on his computer a lot, he explained to me that his dragon had smelled a smell on me and has only smelled that once in his life just not sure where, he believes it has to do with family. He has been looking so much into it, I didn’t mind but at the same time as I told him I was not worried about my past no more, I am happy, I am happy with my family I have at Valhalla pack and now here in his tribe, but Sverre will not let up. So, I left them to it.

The next day, I woke up alone in the room. It was still dark outside, and I wasn't sure what woke me. I stretched out my arm to Dimitri's side of the bed, and it was empty. It was still warm but going cold, so he was not long up.

I switched on the lamp next to me as no other lights were on in the bathroom or walk in wardrobe. I noticed on his pillow was a note with a red rose on top. I picked up the rose and smelled it. Its fragrance was so strong but not overpowering. Picking up the note, I see

Dimitri’s handwriting-

Good morning, my little one

I hope you slept well last night as today we will be having fun today.

There is a dress at the bottom of the bed for you to wear.

There is a soap bar in the shower, it is the yellow one for you to use, make sure you use it on your hair also.

When you are done, make your way to the conference room where my mum is waiting for you.

I can't wait to see you, little one, today will be a great game and challenge.

Today you will be mine.

Oh, my Goddess, it’s the day of the crowning, I see the dress at the bottom of the bed it was a white dress that had thick straps, it would come to my knees with it on, different colored butterflies so small all over it, it was so beautiful. I quickly ran to the bathroom and had the quickest shower using the soap. It didn't smell of anything, I made sure I washed with my hair with it also.

I dried off and got dressed in the dress, no underwear anywhere for me, so I guess I don’t wear it? Shrugging my shoulders I left the room and go to the conference room where Elodie and Acacius were waiting for me. Acacius came over and smelled me, letting us know I did not have a smell. That was what the soap bar was for. It was part of the games.

He then sprayed me with what looked like a perfume bottle to take off the smells on the dress. After Acacius left to go find Dimitri to make sure he is ready. Elodie then styled my hair into different plates and knots around my head, I had never seen anything like it. I loved it, she explained that the perfume and soap will keep all smells off me but soon only Dimitri's will remain, I would know what she means soon.

Magic is strange but fascinating about what it can do. I was led down some stairs that were hidden behind a family portrait. It led to the back of the house to the woods.

Elodie told me I needed to run and hide, Dimitri needs to come and find me using the mate bond only which will be hard as we have not marked each other but, it is to prove he is my mate, and he will always be able to protect me, find me and care for me. Prove he is the warrior I need. For dragons, this proves a strong mate. They have been making this tradition for thousands of years as some dragons before had tried to claim a mate that was not theirs. A story for another time when I am not in a challenge.

I started running through the forest, trying not to laugh at how fun this would be. I am good at hiding, so I will make it a good challenge for my mate as I know he will easily find me.

After running for a while, I see a tree that would be easy to climb. For a non-dragon, most would hide below, so I am going to go high, I could easily jump to the next tree if need be.

Dimitri is not allowed to shift into his dragon form and had to take a pill to dull his senses to find me and to hunt me down in human form. My heart pounded out of my chest with excitement, waiting for my dragon to find me.

I decided to sit down at the top of the tree to catch my breath and have a quick break, slowing down my heart rate. When I heard rustling behind me, I looked and couldn’t see or hear anything, so I just ignored it as it must be an animal walking through the forest. I carried on waiting, planning my next step.

I could then hear whispering floating towards me from behind me, not making out words, more like the wind when it sounds like it is whispering to you, it was in the distance. Turning, I see

Michelle at the edge of the territory speaking to someone, I couldn't hear what she was saying as she was out of ear shot and I couldn't see the person she was talking to as they were hidden by the bushes and trees, I never knew she was back.

Not letting her ruin my day, I went back to concentrating on listening for Dimitri. I could feel he was nearby through the bond, which had gotten stronger each day. Slowly rising to a standing position to make the chase more fun by getting ready to jump to the next tree moving down the branch I was on.

Hearing light footsteps and a ‘You are close little one, I can feel you, you have hidden well. It has taken me most of the morning to find you.''

Looking up, I see the sun has risen in the sky higher. It was near lunchtime.

Quickly and quietly, I moved over to the next tree branch, the leaves keeping me covered, going for my next move.

Before I could jump to the next branch, I felt arms wrap around me, Dimitri's smell of wood and smoke filled my lungs. He bent down to kiss the side of my head. ''I got you little one, you gave me good chase, now you are mine!''
