Glenn's PoV
(October 16, 2134)
I left Stella in my dorm. I had s*x with her last night. My last s*x before I go back to Calchimera. I overdo it since it is the last. She will have a hard time walking today. Anyways, I already talked to her last night. I said that Papa wants me to take care of the failing business we had in U.K.A.
I was walking towards the shore when I remembered that the principal is always at his office even in weekends. I should say goodbye to him.
''Anne?''
I asked my self as a young woman stands outside the office of Valerian. Why is she here?
No way! Is she a...an enemy who knew this place?!
''Anne Mavslovksie of Knight Regime.'' I greeted her.
''Glenn Retards...I mean Reevish of the Military. Why are you here?''
''Why are you?'' I asked her back.
''None of your business.'' Anne replied with the sarcastic tone.
'''None of your business, too.''
She really is an enemy. I just can't understand why she is here?
''Why are you here? I am asking you again.'' I said.
''I'll answer over my dead body.''
A fight will be the answer.
''Then, I shall get my answers through fistfight.'' I rushed towards her. She evaded. Anne punched me in the stomach, making me puke my own saliva.
She really is the best in fistfights. I never had a chance to fight her in Calchimera.
You have to be a demon to defeat a demon, they say.
The fight was clearly one-sided. I got beat up before I arrived at Calchimera. I can't stand the humiliation. I, Glenn Reevish, taught students here about hand to hand combat.
''It may include lethal and non-lethal weapons and methods depending upon the restrictions imposed by civilian law, military rules of engagement, or ethical codes.''
I remembered myself saying this to the students. Anne isn't using any weapons at all, but look at what she did to my pretty face.
*thump
She pinned me to the ground.
''What are you doing? Let me free!'' I said. This woman must be pitying me.
''I feel sorry for you. Your an ex-colonel in the military but your single handedly defeated by a girl. An opposite gender of yours. Much weaker than you in terms of strength. Are you really from the same school like me?''
''Ah. I graduated from the same school as you. Now, let go of me.'' I said.
''Since a poor man who cannot even defend himself to a woman, okay.'' She finally let me go.
I hurriedly opened the door of the principal's office.
*BANG!
''G-Glenn?'' I stutterly asked.
I was catching my breath.
''Why is...ha...ha...ha...Anne Mavslovskie here?'I said as I have a hard time breathing. Anne really exhausted me.
Anne entered after me.
''The freak challenged me in a fight.'' she stated. This woman is a monster. Does she really owns a v****a?
''This is my daughter, Anne Valerian. She is the highest ranking spy we had in the Calchimera Armed forces. Anyways, why are you here?''
He had to depart today, why is he still here?
The principal said.
''Just gonna say goodbye to ya'll.'' I said. Now I see. Anne really had resembles of the Principal. The dorsal nose. Their eyes are the same in color. The strength. Man, like father like son, I mean daughter.
The three walked me to the shore. The helicopter was waiting for me. Dad and Uncle Arthur were there too.
''Good day, Mr. Reevish and Mr. Fleandear.'' The three old men shake hands. Father opened an arms company three years ago.
Looks like I am watching a business getting arranged. It's like watching the three little pigs. I smiled of the idea.
''Glenn?'' Father asked.
''Nothing, Papa.''
I turned to Aaron.
''What is it?'' He asked.
''Take care of Stella and my students.
''Don't overreact, Glenn. You'll comeback in one piece, breathing. You promised me that idiot.''
''That was gay.'' Anne interrupts.
''Shut up. We are enjoying the dramatic moment.''
Our conversation was cut when we heard the three old men laughing.
''Hahaha. I'll take that kind offer.'' Valerian said.
''What is it, Papa?''
''Harell offered to supply us in war. He started an armed company lately.''
''Really, Dad?'' I asked.
''Yep. Governments award contracts to supply their country's military; such arms contracts can become of substantial political importance. The link between politics and the arms trade can result in the development of what U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower described in 1961 as a military–industrial complex, where the armed forces, commerce, and politics become closely linked, similarly to the European multilateral defense procurement...'' the three continued as the three of us listened.
This might be a good business.
''The Russian International Peace Research Institute estimated military expenditures as of 2118 at 1822 billion dollars. This represented a relative decline from 2090, when military expenditures made up 3% of world GDP. Part of the money goes to the procurement of military hardware and services from the military industry. The combined arms-sales of the top 100 largest arms-producing companies and military services companies excluding China and Monarch of Bluegaine, totaled 420 billion dollars in 2118, according to RIPRI. This was 4.7 percent higher than sales in 2117 and marks the fourth consecutive year of growth in Top 100 arms sales. In 2104 over 40 billion dollars were spent in the international arms-trade. According to the institute, the volume of international transfers of major weapons in 2114–18 was 8.8 percent higher than in 2109–13 and 13 percent higher than in 2104–2108. The five largest exporters in 2114–18 were the United Kingdom of America, Axillian Republic, France, Germany and China whilst the five biggest importers were Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Australia and Algeria...''
Woah. That's a lot of dollars.
''Dad...Shall we go now?'' I said.
''I am very sorry about that, Glenn. Let's continue this next time with beers.'' Dad offered.
''I'll accept that. Goodbye, Glenn.'' Valerian said. I hopped into the chopper, following dad and Uncle.
''Goodbye. Principal. Farewell, Aaron. See you next time, Anne.'' I bid them farewell.
I waved my hands until the three of them looked like ants from my point of view.
''You will be going back, son.'' Dad encouraged me.
''Thank you for caring my daughter, Glenn. I can now entrust her to you.''
My heart skipped a beat. I haven't asked for Stella's hands yet, but...Uncle Arthur is feeding me with her hands.
''I-I'll gladly accept it!''
''Then after the war, let's arrange the marriage.'' Dad said.
I blushed.
I'll definitely go back to you, Stella, sweety, as fast as I could.
Just sit there and wait.
