Chapter 28:Succinct

Stella's PoV (October 17, 2134)

All first-years waited for the academy's Media, Culture and Communication room. It is Sunday. The day the principal will be briefing us.

''All right, Class 1-A. Relax that stiffened face of yours.'' It was Professor Aaron.

I let out a deep sigh.

He was not here in this Island yesterday. The principal said he sent him to a mission.

It was not a believable reason, but I trust Glenn since he told me why he was avoiding me yesterday. But it's still suspicious.

The door for the MCC opened. Class 1-A will be the first to enter.

Louise guided us inside. Professor Aaron assisted us.

''I will be your adviser today. Glenn was sent on the mission.'' Then he smiled.

''It would be better if Professor Glenn was here.''

Arianne said what's on my mind. This...I really don't like her.

''It would be better if you're the one sent to that mission and never come back.'' I whispered under my breath.

Arianne is really clingy to Glenn. Like whenever we have alone time with Glenn in the room, she would enter and disrupt it. What's worse is she always look at Glenn with this resting-horny-b***h look.

''That girl always is so bitchy.'' Professor Aaron said. ''She might grab that Glenn of yours in no time.''

''Then she should be ready to protect herself. I'll make hundreds of hole from her body with my Barret.'' I said confidently.

''You really are Caspian's friend.''

After a few minutes, the Principal came in.

''Ahhh...The Elite squad of the year. Class 1-A welcome.'' He said.

''It'll be a great honor.'' we replied with a salute.

''Put it down.'' He said

''Firs will be, Military education and training. It is a process which intends to establish and improve the capabilities of military personnel in their respective roles. Military training may be voluntary or compulsory duty. It begins with recruit training, proceeds to education and training specific to military roles, and sometimes includes additional training during a military career. Directing staff are the military personnel who comprise the instructional staff at a military training institution...''

We nodded.

''All of you went through this after graduating in Senior Military schools. All of you passed this s**t with my signed name. You get recommended and this school will be your training grounds for the real battle. I appreciate the will in every each of you...''

His explanation in Military education and training took half an hour to finish. Then he started the operation briefing.

''Class 1-A. You have completed all your position And I wanna say thank you for being part of it. Any questions so far?''

''Sir. If all of the students in the academy are to participate, aren't we a lot weaker than the armed forces of Calchimera Republic?''

As always the smartest people will recognize the problems we cannot think.

''What are those countries?'' I asked out of curiosity.

''...Third country is the Axillian Republic.'' He paused.

Why would the Axillian Republic offer their military?

''How much?'' Rheanelle asked.

''Three fourths of their army.'' Principal answered.

''WHAT!?'' the whole class was shocked.

''Why did they do that?''

''I know. I was shocked too. Axillian Republic is known for being a secretive country. Although it is very suspicious, we cannot disagree. It will be a great help if its not a joke.''

Axillian Republic. The country said to be the most powerful one in armed forces.

Hope its not a fake.

''Now, I'll shall continue with the positions each of you selected. Professor Aaron, the whiteboard please.''

Professor Aaron brought whiteboard. There were so many writings in it.

''This is the plan. It is approved by the world leaders.'' He said. It was to ensure us that this mission will help the world. We knew that our chance of dying are much greater than surviving.

Ryuu just bowed his head. His position is safe from battlefield.

''Your done. Now, straighten your mind and get out. I have a long day today. Your dismissed now, Class 1-A.''

As soon as we got out of the M.C.C and into the gates of our school, I forgot my Barrett just outside the M.C.C door.

''I'll get my Barrett back. You two go first.''

I ran as fast as I could before the Class 1-B arrives.

I got there in time. Then I heard Professor Aaron and the principal talking.

''Why did you say that to the students? That was cruel.''

''I just said that so they won't be regretting their decisions once they faced the battle. I know you already saw this Aaron but looking at your allies dead bodies in that field is no joke. Can you see the 4th to 6th graders in this school? I horned them even above their limits. Now, look at them they are now people who have limitless skills. That is what I said to them in their first years. Their companions have died along that way but they still stood strong. I planted them. Now look what I harvested...''

''Stella!''

Peach shouted.

''What took you so long?'' Rheane asked.

''Just heard something interesting. Let's go now.''

We will definitely win this war.
