Izzy opened the door and they walked in together. They pulled off the shoes and slide their feet into flip-flops.
Izzy held Zach's arm as they headed for the sofa in the living room. Izzy began walking away.
"Izzy "he called and she stopped walking, settling her gaze on him.
"Yes? "she responded.
He kept mute, "Well, it's nothing. Go to sleep, goodnight "he rasped and Izzy furrowed her brows.
"Good night then "she hesitated and said before walking away.
Zach laid down on the sofa, placing his hands beneath his head. After staring into space for a while, he smiled.
NEXT MORNING
Izzy woke up early but Zach was no where to be found. She checked the kitchen and bathroom to see if he was there but he wasn't.
She recalled his words last night.
