Teddy walked back to where Trisha was and apologized for leaving her. He then pressed all the things back to where he took them from and helped Trisha mount the bike again.
Manolo called before he started the engine.
“Let’s move a little far from here, so they can't follow us if they decide to. Manolo said to wait for the ambulance,” he said.
“What did you do with them?” Trisha’s eyes traveled from Teddy’s face to his hand with the tinge of blood, making her shiver a little.
Teddy scoffed at seeing her reaction.
“I didn’t hurt them if that’s what you have in mind. Didn’t you see I took a small can earlier?”
