Chapter 23“Is it hard for you to be back here?” I asked several minutes later while Stefan, Taylor, Raquel, and I sat in a box at the Lax Stadium.
Queen Vivian was generous and gave us all tickets to see today’s dueling match. Dueling was the most popular sport in Magnifico and only had two rules. The first person to be on the ground for more than ten seconds lost, and you weren’t allowed to kill your opponent. But other than that, people had free rein with their magic during the match.
Stefan shrugged. “A little bit. But you know me. I’m trying to make nice with my sister.”
