Chapter 9“You look handsome,” Katherine said several afternoons later while we stood in the basement. It was the weekend, which meant I wasn’t worried about school and could do whatever I wanted. Luckily for me, though, that included hanging out with Stefan. He sent me an invitation to have a picnic. Although his methods were unconventional since the piece of paper appeared out of nowhere in my bedroom last night as opposed to sending a letter through the mail.
