Chapter 33I woke up several evenings after my birthday party and rose to get a glass of water, only to be greeted by Stefan’s snoring. A faint light seemed to flutter in the room. As I focused, two butterflies swooped through the air. A trail of blue glitter drifted behind a blue butterfly, while pink dust trailed behind a pink butterfly. The man and the woman working for the Resistance had pink and blue hair. But there was no way the butterflies could’ve been them. Then again, intuition was often right even without having any specific proof. The butterflies lingered before flying out of my bedroom.
