Rick continued to step back until he was next to Swanson, waiting with patience Eva assumed was feigned.
A flashlight shined through the gap as it widened enough to reveal a member of the ARC black ops. He stepped through and lowered his weapon as he recognized those in front of him.
“Sir,” he acknowledged Swanson.
“Agent. You found the tunnel, then.”
