I couldn’t sleep the entire night in fear, hiding on the corner of the bed. I thought they were going to break the door and get in. I thought this would be my last night on earth. But thankfully, nothing like that happened. I made it through the night. By the morning, I packed up all my belongings and kept waiting for Calvin. He is on his way here.
Truce and Mirth did come to talk to me as I expected. They tried to convince me that they are not going to hurt me. And for a minute, I believed them. I wanted to go back to them. I wanted to kiss them and wrap myself in their arms. They reminded me of how much I love them. They told me that if they had to kill me or eat me, they would have done it already when they got the first chance.
