The entire room is filled with clapping noise, echoing through every corner and every turn of the building. And I am standing here as the center of attention, as everyone’s eyes are only staring at me. It feels so uncomfortable that I want to hide. I am surely glad now that I have a mask on my face to hide from them.
“Take off your mask.” Right as I was thinking that, Calvin whispered into my ear to take it off.
