Chapter 35 - Admitted in hospital

This woman, how can she still be very calm? Reminding him about picking up their kids before leaving school in a hurry. Well, maybe if she hadn't mentioned it I might have done it, thought Aditya. He felt the 10 minute waiting time like 10 years time now!! What happened to her? Why did she end up with a knife injury? Isn't she supposed to be in the spa? He can't stop thinking about all the reasons.

"Daddy!!" Krisha and Adish's voices made him snap out of his deep thinking. They ran towards him in excitement.

"Hey, hai! Come let's go and pick up mummy!" It's better not to tell them now or else they will feel scared.

"Where is mummy daddy?" Krisha asked.

"Mummy... Mummy at the hospital to visit a friend." His kids nodded their heads.

"Oh okay," Adish replied. It is no longer an abnormal thing for Aditya when one asks and the other replies.

They reached the hospital in 10 minutes, since it was on the way to Aditya's villa. David arrived exactly after Aditya and they went to the floor where Krisandra was admitted. David and the kids were waiting in the entrance hall which came with a television.

"Krisha and Adish, wait here with uncle David, daddy will check on mummy okay?" Both nodded in agreement. David switched on the cartoon channel on the television for the kids and was busy making callings to find out what actually happened. It was a VVIP room that came with a queen bed where Krisandra was resting. Her right arm was bandaged and fixed with a sling. Aditya's face was not happy at all when he saw Krisandra in that situation. His heartbeat was faster and he felt an unexplainable pain.

He got nearer and saw Krisandra was sleeping. He affectionately touched her face and leaned to kiss her forehead. Suddenly, Krisandra pulled his necktie which made Aditya was out of balance and almost fall on her while his lips touched hers. She kissed him deeply as though it was their first kiss, which made her feel safe and relieved. Aditya managed to balance his position and kept kissing her deeply until he heard her relief with a moaning sound. He knew she felt safe and relieved with her breathing pattern.

"How are you feeling baby?" He asked her while his lips were still touching hers.

"I am feeling exhausted, other than that I am fine." Their lips were still touching.

"What happened?" He asked in a worried tone after he sat beside her while checking her arm.

"I was walking towards the shop, a few men were chasing a teenage boy and this boy had a knife in his hand. He sliced my arm while passing by me. All happened in seconds." She adjusted herself to a sitting position while leaning on his shoulder.

"The spa shop staff came out to help me. All the men stopped chasing him, were helping me. I guess he used me to divert them." She was very beautiful when she smiled at him, even when she was in pain.

"Did the guys mention why they were chasing the boy?" She shook her head.

"Is it very painful?" He was holding her other hand.

"Not so, the doctor has given the pain killer."

"I will make sure he will feel the same pain." He was squeezing her other hand which was not hurt.

"Catch him and hand him over to the police. You are not allowed to hurt anyone, including Damayanti." She told him strictly.

"Krisandra, you don't know about her."

"Yes, and she doesn't know about me either, right?" She smiled sweetly and he melted towards her.

"What are you going to do?" He asked in a whispering tone.

"Simple, I will live happily with you. That is more than enough for her to feel irritated and make her regret life long. I am sure she will not make any drastic move once we are married. She thinks you are only angry with her, but still love her." He was not happy with her reply, but he couldn't say no to her, so he nodded in agreement.

"The kids are outside. Do you want to see them now?" Aditya doesn't want to discuss further about his past in the current situation.

"Yes, I will talk to them." Aditya went out and brought the twins in. Both ran to her but stopped halfway abruptly. Both faces were changing from smiling faces to crying ones.

"Mummy fell down, so no crying faces here," Krisandra told them immediately.

"Fall down?" Both also said in unison and were surprised too. Both climbed and sat beside her while staring at her bandage.

"Yes, remember mummy and aunty Kay fell down once?" Both nodded their heads immediately after they recalled their memory.

"But mummy, why are you having that thing over you, last time you put plaster only," Krisha asked.

"This is a bandage," She told them. Adish tried to touch it with one finger.

"Are you in pain mummy?" Krisha asked her.

"No babies, mummy is fine." Both hugged her one after one and kissed her cheek as softly as they could. Aditya was watching with full of love towards these three humans in front of him. He never thought he would have kids and a woman for him in this lifetime. It was really a miracle, magic, and the best was the woman he loved 6 years ago.

"Now babies," Aditya called them.

"Daddy wants you all to follow uncle David to go back home and listen to grandpa Allen, okay?"

"Okay daddy, when will mummy come back home? Can we visit you tomorrow after school?"

"Yes, you can visit mummy after school. Remember you must not trouble grandpa Allen, okay?"

"Yes, mummy!" They said together and went down slowly from the bed.

Krisandra saw David come in and whisper something to him. Aditya's face changed drastically. He was all fine earlier but now his face was like fire. What happened? What did David find out? It must be something bad. Was this an accident? Or someone purposely did this to her?
