Chapter 36 - Business enemies

Krisandra saw David come in and whisper something to Aditya and his face changed drastically. He was all smiling but now his face was like fire. What happened? What did David find out? Aditya's expression changed immediately once he realized Krisandra was watching him and whispered to David, who kept on nodding his head.

"Come let's go!" David called to the kids.

"Hi! Uncle David" The kids greeted him. He waved his hand to them and the kids went straight to Aditya to hug and kiss him. Once they were done with their dad, they turned and waved their hands to Krisandra before going with David.

"What happened?" Krisandra asked Aditya once the kids were out.

"Nothing, have you had your lunch yet?"

"No, not yet." Aditya intercomed the reception and asked them to arrange some food for Krisandra and for him. Since it was a high-class private hospital, the food could be ordered as per the menu given. The service here is also most like five-star hotels.

"Tell me what actually happened?" Krisandra is a strong woman but this might be too much for her. Aditya's people have managed to find out who the person responsible is behind this incident.

"David has checked the CCTV from the shop together with the surrounding area and managed to find out what actually happened. What you saw was all drama, they were paid to attack you, and the investigation led to a group of gangsters around that area."

"So you suspect Damayanti?"

"Who else?" Aditya frowned at his face.

"How about your business enemies?" Krisandra didn't believe Damayanti would go this far.

"My business enemies don't dare to attack me or my family. It never happened."

"All this while they didn't know you have a wife and kids, they are not stupid to hurt you directly. I have a doubt about the accident too. Maybe you are looking at the wrong person. Someone who knows about you and your personal details very well."

"Okay, let's say I remove Damayanti and only look at my business enemies. Then there are maybe 2 groups only, but even they are going to tie business with Adi Corporation so they know what will happen if they are involved in these kinds of activities."

"What will happen?" She questioned him.

"They will lose everything and will be on the street with their families. I am very sure they are not dare enough to do this. They dare not or will not take any risk." Krisandra was speechless to hear him saying this.

"Are you this cruel?" She asked in a lower and confused tone.

"Me, I am not, actually I am teaching how to be good, especially when it comes to business, no dirty business with me." He grinned widely.

"Baby, the deal is for both sides too, so I will get the same punishment."

"Really?" She didn't believe that he was putting himself at the same risk.

"I was a playboy only. I don't do any dirty business. Trust me, baby," he said in a sexy voice while slowly leaning towards her to kiss her.

"Hummm! Nice" he said while sucking and licking her lips.

"Shut up!" She blushed. He started to laugh and she joined him. He was all over her except one hand.

"So we only have her to be blamed." He continued in a low and sexy voice.

"No Aditya, I still feel it's not her, she would not have confronted me directly and when I asked her about the accident, she was confused."

"Hmmm, okay, I will ask David to check again. He has got a date for our wedding. The end of this month, are you ready for it?"

"I am leaving as a mother for your kids for 6 years. Why wouldn't I be ready?"

"This is not about the kids, this is about me. Are you ready to accept me as your legal husband to give me a chance to serve you with my love?" He sighed.

At the same time, you will be in the eyes of the public as my legal wife and I am not sure how many women will be jealous of you."

"Well, I don't need to worry about other women, someone will take care of them."

"Who?" He asked in surprise.

"Damayanti!" Aditya laughed at his woman.

"I only need to take care of Damayanti."

"But Krisandra, don't underestimate her. She was sleeping with other men under my name when she was in a relationship with me. When my friends told me, I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. If at a young age she was a criminal, what do you think she would be now?"

Krisandra nodded her head silently and there was truth in his words even though she looked confused or maybe she pretended to be confused. Their room doorbell rang and the food arrived. Aditya fed her and had his food silently. David went to the hospital after he finished his office work.

"David, were the gangsters big-timers or just roadside types?" Krisandra questioned him.

"Big one, there are chances they have done it as a favor only since the cut was not deep."

"Are you saying this is a small cut only?" Krisandra felt annoyed, it's so painful.

"Yes, for them, not for you, don't get me wrong," he explained once Aditya stared at him.

"Sorry, I didn't get it, can you explain it to me?" She was a little confused. Crime is a crime, whether small or big.

"Krisandra, the one who sliced you, is just a small timer who is also a member of the big gang. These types of gangsters aren't involved in small-time crime like this, unless the person who requested or paid is in a very high status. This type of gangster is hired to kill people in a very gruesome way." Aditya explained to her clearly, which made her feel a bit scared and she looked pale in a few seconds.
