Chapter 41 - Anita Varman

1105 Words
"You are not going to hear anything nice, Aditya, be ready for it," Allen said in a very flat tone. There were no emotions in his words. " Your father, Adinath Varman, became impotent after he met with a car accident before his marriage." Allen broke the biggest and darkest secret of Aditya's birth. Aditya was so shocked when he heard about this. He went blank and almost faint. He managed to grip the bedside and sit on the bed which was near him. He never thought there was any secret about his birth. Why would I be kept in the dark all this while? So was this the reason for her to hate him the most? Was I an adopted child? Who are my real parents? "Aditya!! Are you okay, drink this water," Krisandra gave him some water. Allen stopped and was looking at Aditya with concern. "So she hates me because I am her real son? Not her blood and flesh?" Aditya was going insane. "Who are my real parents? Tell me!!" He held Allen's collar and was screaming at him. "You knew all of this and you never said a word to me? Why!! Why Allen??" Krisandra was speechless and she had no idea what to do with one hand. Allen was keeping silent. "Continue Allen," Aditya was stammering when he said it. He needs to hear everything. Allen looked into his eyes. He saw a calm pair of eyes of Aditya's and he was not worried anymore. "First of all, you are not adopted. You are from your mother's flesh and blood. Hmmm!" Allen sighed. "Your mother came from a middle-class family, she was a beautiful and homely girl. It was an arranged marriage by Varman's family with her family. She was doing her medical studies in her 4th year and was a very bright student. Your family promised her that she could continue her studies after the marriage. Based on that promise, her parents agreed to the marriage. After the marriage 3 months later, she was sent overseas for a year with her husband, Adinath Varman." "When she returned she brought you back as a 3-month-old baby. She was staying at the family villa but she refused to stay with Adinath in their own private room. Adinath didn't refuse and allowed her to stay there since she was taking care of you." "All was well until you were four years old. After that, she refused to take care of you. Adinath became a womanizer and at one point, he brought back his mistress and started to stay together in the villa. She started to hate you when you were 4 years old and I am not sure why until now. I am sorry." "But even when she hated you she was at the villa until you left for overseas." Allen let go a big sigh of relief and he looked at Aditya full of concern. The room was in silence for a long moment. "Why won't she hate me when my father forced her to sleep with another man to make her pregnant? Tell me which woman will not hate that child?" Aditya started to scream in anger. Tears were streaming on both of his cheeks. Now he could understand his mother very well and why she hated him so much. "Then she wouldn't have taken care of you at all, Aditya." Krisandra made him realize, which made Aditya freeze for a while. "Yes, true, she only shows it after I am 4 years old, which means I look like my real father, right?" "She didn't hate you because you looked like him because she loved that man, plus you don't look like that man, you look like your mother Aditya," Allen revealed his mother's love story, which was another big hit. Aditya was more confused now. Did she love a man? And am I the child of that man? "Then there must be some other reason for her to do that!" Krisandra told him. "Allen, who is my real father?" Aditya asked him in a very low voice. "I cannot reveal it, I have promised your mother, I am sorry," Allen told him in a stern voice. "So, you do know who he is?" Aditya was waiting for his reply. Allen nodded his head in silence. "Do I know him too?" Again he nodded. So the man or my real father is someone I know! "I am sorry Aditya, I can't reveal it, she will tell you when she is ready." The room was silent again. "I feel something is not correct here." Krisandra's voice was confused. Both men looked at her. "As a mother, she might have her own reasons to make you hate her, but not to kill, right?" "And if at all she wanted to kill you, she had a lot of opportunities to do it when you were a kid." "Yes! True!" Allen agreed with Krisandra with a frown on his face. There is a logic here. "So why would she kill you and hurt me now?" She added. "Actually, when she found out about Krisandra she called and checked but she didn't have the courage to talk to you or her." "There you go, Aditya, we are missing something here." Krisandra made a conclusion. "There must be someone else doing something in her name who knows us well," Aditya commented. "Allen, please keep this to yourself and I have invited her for lunch on Saturday. Don't tell her you have told me about her past. I don't want her to feel shame when she meets me." "Exactly Aditya!" Krisandra told him in excitement. She got the point. "Your mother might feel shame when you find out about your birth, so this must be the reason she made you hate her when you were small, but she didn't realize that you still care and love her till to date." "Of course, it was not her mistake at all. How could I be angry with her and she loved the man, so I was born out of love, not lust or forced, right?" "Yes, right, you were born out of love, not lust," Allen said in a very low and loving tone, as if he was telling it to himself. "Everything will be clear when I meet her on Saturday," Aditya said with a lot of relief. "Thank you Allen, you can leave first. I will contact you if I need anything. Don't send the kids to school and transfer them next week to the new school which we discussed earlier together with our security team."
