Chapter 21 - Sandra

1769 Words
Krisha was on Aditya's lap until the limousine entered the main entrance of the villa to drop them off. When they entered the house, all the housekeepers were standing along the way. "Allen, this is Krisandra, future Mrs. Aditya and these are my kids." Allen was shocked by Aditya's return with a new woman and the kids. The small girl's face is proof that she is his daughter and the boy looks like his mother. "Hello, grandpa Allen!" Both kids greeted him with respect. "I am Krisha," she smiled sweetly at him. "I am Adish," he grinned at him. Allen is an elderly man in his 60's and has been working since a young age for Aditya's family. Now he was speechless with two grandkids of the Varman family. "Krisandra, this is Allen, our butler and he has been with me since I was a small kid." "Hello, uncle Allen." Krisandra greeted him. Aditya and Allen were amazed when Krisandra and her kids were so respectful to him. "You can call me by name, Miss Krisandra," Allen informed her. "You can call me Krissy, uncle," she replied to him politely, leaving no option for Allen to nod his head. "Allen, is everything ready?" Aditya asked him. "Yes Aditya!" Both of them address each other as though friends beyond their age restriction. "Sandra, bring the kids and come with me." Suddenly Aditya called her Sandra. Nobody calls her that name except for that old man of mine. She felt a kind of pain in her when he called that name. "The ground floor is the hall, dining area, and kitchen. The first floor has only bedrooms. We have 7 rooms. The middle is our master bedroom. Sandra, on the left, will be Krisha's and on the right be Adish." By the time he finished saying it, both kids ran to their rooms to check out. "Why not they stay together in a room first, then later slowly, they can stay separately when they want." Krisandra doesn't want them to feel lonely or separated, they are twins, so let them choose when they want to sleep separately. "Your wish and kids wish, I have no objection. I know they are twins." She smiled sweetly at him, which made him want to hug her, but he couldn't. Hmmm, he sighed in his thought. "So what is on the 3rd floor?" She asked. "My study, mini pool, and a balcony for us to romance in the open air." When she heard the last few words she changed color. "I missed you so much," he whispered in her ear and bit her earlobe playfully. "Tomorrow I am going to meet 2 specialists for my arms. Could you accompany me?" "Hmmm, okay," she wanted to know how long it would take for him to do it. Earlier, the doctor said at least 6 months and it needs to be very careful. "Aditya," she called to him. "Hummm, yes?" He liked how she called his name. "Don't call me Sandra, I don't like it." "Why, it is your name too, right?" "Yes, but I don't like that name, so please." He sighed and nodded. She left him and went to check on the kids. Why does she not like the name? She looks sad and at the same time hated. Who hurt her this much until she hated her own name? "Mummy, everything is too big and too nice here," Krisha told her. "Both of you want to sleep together or separately?" "I want to sleep alone," Adish told her. "I am a little scared, mummy," Krisha told her. Krisandra looked at Adish. "Okay, okay, I will sleep with her but in my room, okay?" "Fine Adish, as long as we sleep together," Krisha hugged her younger brother. "Good, you two are sister and brother. You must take care, love, and protect each other, okay?" "Yes, mummy we will," both told her in unison. Aditya was standing at the entrance and was listening to their conversation. His kids were brought up very well by Krisandra. She guides them perfectly and shapes them into obedient, smart, and knowledgeable children. She, as a single mother for the past 6 years, has never lacked confidence, self-esteem, and money. For them, I am nothing except playing the role of a father. She could have "killed me as their father" in her kids' life but she didn't. Why? "Why didn't you come inside?" she asked Aditya when she saw him standing outside of Krisha's room. "You were advising them, so I don't want to interfere." "You can advise them like their father, good advice only, okay!" "Hahaha! Of course, good ones only. They are my kids. How can I advise them about bad ones?" Their room. "Come let's go in," he invited her to their master bedroom. The room was 3 to 4 times bigger than her master bedroom in her apartment. She recalled what Krisha mentioned just now, " everything is too big and too nice here".I have to buy a little bigger apartment this time. "You like it?" he asked when he saw she was stunned and didn't move. "Ya, it's big, cozy, and nice," she scanned the room. Her eyes stopped at one particular picture which was kept beside the bed. It was her picture from 6 years ago, she was in her maroon dress, so this picture was taken from that night. "Come and check the closet room and if you don't like the designs we can change it," Aditya was talking to her but her eyes were locked on that picture. Aditya's eyes followed where her eyes were staring and he saw she was staring at her old picture. He stood in front of her and broke her eye contact with her picture. She stared at him right into his eyes with a little hatred. "I know you don't believe my words that I have changed, I understand but as you promised I will use my second chance wisely to make you love me," he told her in a very soft and low tone. She walked past him and checked the closet room which has all types of designs of clothing with high-class brands. "Why so many? I will not finish wearing it in a few years time." "Are you kidding, this is for the next 6 months only, once the season is finished new season designs will be replaced." "You rich people really love to waste money, hmmm, so what will you do with all these clothes, throw?" "How you can say waste, do you know how many designers are surviving because of us? All the clothes which are in good condition will be donated to the orphanages which needed so they will not go to waste. Aren't we supporting the society?" "Hmmm, whatever!" Krisandra still feels it is a big waste, fine they are not going into the dustbin. So Krisha and Adish also will have these many clothes? All these while I have been teaching them to save money and spend it wisely, now all will go into the dustbin. I can't blame them if they got tempted, they are still small kids. "What are you thinking?" She shook off her head when he questioned her. "Anyway not all of your clothes are in there, we are sharing the closet. Dinner dresses will be ordered and designed when needed only." It's all too new for her since she has never lived a rich woman lifestyle even when she is rich. She is very much comfortable with a body-hugging blouse or shirt, jeans, or long skirts which she can match with her walking shoes, specifically there is a big no-no for 6 or 7 inches heels. "Come let's have lunch first, we can discuss other things later." He invited her. They walked out together and found the kids were following Allen to the dining table. Allen held both of their hands one in each of his hands. Krisandra was feeling her heart was paining to see the view. Her father never accepted her kids when she brought them back. She visited her parents when they were 1 year old, her mother was sulking with her first but once she saw her kids she was happy. Her siblings were not happy since she was having a good life compared to them even after she helped them financially from time to time. Her thoughts were so mixed and she was not aware she was already reaching the staircases. The moment she stepped on the stairs she was out of balance and her body flew in front. For a moment she thought she was going to fall from the stairs and break her one and only face. She closed her eyes in fear but her face hit a soft and flat surface. She felt 2 strong hands under her armpit to balance her. She opened her eyes and she saw Aditya was frowning at her. "You would have broken your face by falling from here, what were you thinking?" He snapped at her. "I am sorry I was thinking something," she was still in his arms and her rosy lips tempted him. He leaned and kissed her while she was still talking to him. She froze for a moment when his lips touched hers. Once he sucked her breathe until he was satisfied he let go of her with an evilly smile. "This will be your punishment if you try to hurt yourself carelessly, everything of yours is mine, remember that," he let go of her. "Did I hurt your hands?" She totally forgot about his hands. "You almost broke them." "I am sorry, sorry! I didn't mean it" She was so worried, she would have made his hands damaged permanently. "It's okay, if anything happens to my hands you have to be with me till the end of your life to take care of me." "Be careful with your steps, I will kiss you again if you fall again." He smiled wickedly at her. "No, thank you," saying that she walked past him to the dining table. "Mummy! Daddy!" Both called them excitedly as though seeing them for the first time. "Daddy's lips got blood," Krisandra looked at him in shock, it was her lipstick mark. "Really baby?" He asked Krisha and she nodded her head. "Maybe daddy must have accidentally bite my lips, let mummy help daddy to wipe it." Krisandra has no choice since his finger cannot be used. "Next time you are not allowed to wear lipstick at home," he whispered to her.
