Where did Cole go?

Well the day moves on as slow as it can with mom yelling insults and hitting me as it goes . She gets drunker and drunker and finally passes out around 1 . I stumble outside to finally take a bath in the stream . I place my rags on the rock and climb in

‘You know your brother is trying to help right ‘ oh not you too mags .

Mags is my wolf she is a beautiful white wolf with a golden streak down her back . She curls up inside and huff at my displeasure of her agreeing with Cole . After about an hour of soaking around in the steam starring off into the woods I hear my brother Cole running off towards the direction of the town . I look over at him and he’s fast by the time I see him it’s just a blurr. Did he change plans is he leaving without me . Did he think I would t go .. I mean I never said I would and he was slightly annoyed by my questions but I was still going to go !! I mean for god sake he’s my best friend well my only friend ! He’s been the best brother anyone could ask for and he’s like a giant protector. Ughh I grumble and gather my things and head to my cot . Then I start crying . He didn’t even say goodbye .. what the heck I know he smelled me out there he could have I don’t know said never see you again it’s been fun or something . I curl myself up extra small and continue crying until I pass out .

I wake up a few hours later with tears stained cheeks looking at the clock it’s now 11:30 pm . Oh jez he did say to be ready by midnight but what in the world does that mean . Do I pack anything do I just get up and dressed ? Ugh why can’t Cole ever just tell me what’s actually going on .

I stumble out of bed and grab a pair of leggings and a long sleeve t shirt . I wrap my hair up in a messy bun and throw on some shoes . I really hope he comes back for me and didn’t actually leave me behind .

I stumble out the door still stretching and trying to wake myself completly up .

Then suddenly there is a jump from the roof and a big thud hits the ground .

I’m looking up to a giant grey wolf with a white streak on its face. He puts one paw forward and goes into a low pounce state . Growling then he pounces .

I giggle as his tongue goes across my face.

“ You big jerk get off of my I almost had a heart attack !! “ I screech . Then within a few seconds Cole shifts back to his human form . He is completely naked so he reaches to the side of the porch grabbing some shorts and a shirt .

“ I am glad you decided to come we have a lot to discuss on our walk over …I need you to drink this by the way I went and picked up a bunch you just need a sip “ he hands me a bottle filled with green liquid I raise my eyebrow at him .

“Cole I’m not drinking some random green drink without some info on this “ he chuckles deep .

“Listen here Iz I need you to do exactly as I say other wise this plan is going to go to s**t . I have a big plan but we have a lot to do before we get there so please indulge me and just be a good little wolf .” He ruffles my hair as he drags me to him and we start on our walk. I look at the drink as we walk and I take a sip . I almost gag on how terrible it taste . But something happens . I feel tingly and my shape begins to change .he looks down at me and jumps .

“ oh s**t !!! It works ..” he throws his hands up in excitement he grabs me and throws me into the air . I stare at him like he’s lost his freaking mine .

“ Izzy this is going to work .. okay okay .. we need to talk as we go but god damn I’m excited . “ he grabs me and starts speed walking with me .

“ okay so you will be going with me to the Alpha Den Academy .. “ I stop in my tracks he looks back at me like I’m insane for not continue to walk.

“ COLE I CANT GO THERE I AM A GIRL AND LOOK AT ME IM WEAK AS f**k !”

He rushes to me grabbing my face covering my mouth .

“ Listen here iz..iz… IZREAL perfect name I can still call you Iz that way .. listen I am strong I can be an alpha we can have a better life . I couldn’t leave you there especially knowing you were going to be sold off … I know one you’re a virgin and that would not be the case within 24 hours like it or not . Two you would not last with mom and I couldn’t focus without you near me

Three you don’t have to be strong enough I will train with you but look at you I went into town got a potion from a witch so now you look exactly like a guy I mean you’re scrawny and couldn’t really be a threat to a bunny but you look like a guy . You need to take it every 8 hours by the way. You will still have your scent which is girlish but I can scent mark you to confuse them enough . I’ll pass you off as my brother and we will be fine .” He says all of this so fast and with hope . I just sigh because he’s right I don’t have a better option here right? Oh dear lord we are going to do this .
