As we continue running through the first I hear people shouting and laughing up ahead. I glance over at Cole who just smirks at me then grabs my arm as we get closer pulling me to a stop .

He rubs his wrists on my checks , neck and arms . Then he comes in and sniffs the air around me .

“Alright IZREAL first things first ground rules . No talking to other cadets we are here for me to get through and you to stay alive . Once I am through you will obviously come to my territory or with me if I become a commander . You will need to continue to work out because no offense small fry but you’re going to be the smallest weakest one here . “ I blink at him like he’s an i***t because obviously I need to work out and obviously if there is any sort of physical challenge I’d lose I mean really . He gives me a raised eye brow and gestures his hands to the side .

“Well cadet did you hear a single word I just said ?”

“Yes Cole , I heard you okay… I’m just .. I’m nervous .. they can’t tell I’m a girl ? Because I’m like 5’2 blonde and skinny .. you’re 6’4 brunette and gigantic.. “

He huffs and wipes his hand down his face .

“ no they can’t tell if you take that stuff every 8 hours and you will always be with me ..ALWAYS Iz I don’t care if you have to pee you will be with me . .. speaking of which.. that potion only helps you look more like a guy and moves some of your body around sooo you still have your lady parts down there… sooo no showering in the common bathroom until I say and make sure to not change in front of them. “

I groan and hide my face embarrassed of the fact I’ll be surrounded by alpha looking males and they will probably prance around naked mostly . I mean I’ve seen my brother obviously because of his shifting but like ew for one

‘Ohhhh but we could find a cute one maybe find our mate !! I wonder if he will be there oh my stars Izzy we can find him and he can take care of us and in ALOT of ways hehe ‘

“ okay Cole I understand .. let’s try and get through this .. I won’t talk to anyone and I’ll be on you like glue “ I smirk at him knowing he will be so annoyed by the end of the first day.

He groans “ Like glue little one now come on let’s go get signed up “

We walk out into the field near the train and all around me are gigantic alpha looking males . Some are spitting and talking some are digging into food like they have zero manners and some are just looking around murderous . Oh dear god how will I get through this .

I find myself starring at a group of guys one of them with their back turned to me he’s in a Black cut off T and basketball shorts . He is covered in muscle he’s probably bigger than Cole . He has dark brown hair that’s clean cut.

Mags stop it you know we can’t make any of them our friends and we promised not to talk soooo pretty hard to start a convo .

I am grabbed by the arm and pulled into Cole’s side

“ I thought I was clear on the rules .. I am returning you home a virgin so please stop looking at them like they are a piece of meat” he grumbles in my ear .

“ ohhhh what do we have here ?” A woman in her late 40s is in front of us at a sign up desk looking between us oddly .

“ We are here to sign in to the Academy. I’m Cole and this is my Twin brother Israel. “

She looks at him in awe struck eyes then at me with disapproval .

“You I understand but .. him .. and ..twins “ she looks between us .

“ Are you the one who decides what he can handle or is that the actual academy ? “ Cole sneers at her . She gasps and puts her hand over her chest like she’s never been so offended . She signs us in and gives us our tickets to the train.

“Why were you so rude ?” I ask looking up to Cole as we make our way into the train .

“The less questions she can ask about you the better . “ I put my mouth in the shape of an O understanding .

We get to near the back of the train where we have seats next to each other Cole pushes me to the window seat and he sits next to me .

The train is filling up now I guess we are about to take off . I get differnt glances from people . Mostly feeling like I’m dead meat if I leave my brothers side .

“Well hello there ? It seems I’m actually between you both ..” Cole and I look up to see a guy who’s slightly shorter than the rest probably 5’11 smaller built than the rest but still muscular . Cole death stares him for a moment .

“ Well why don’t you just sit there no one is even there “ he points across from us at 2 empty seats .

“Oh no offense but I’m not getting in trouble for not sitting in the correct seat so if you wouldn’t mind “ he starts to move to between us when Cole slides to the middle and points his finger next to him at his old seat .

“ You sit there . Not here “ he grumbles.

The guy just smirks at him and reach his hand across to me in a hand shaking form “ I’m Atticus by the way it’s nice to see someone .. so .. um not intimidating ..”

“WHAT !? What the hell is that suppose to mean Assicus ?” Cole using his wolf’s voice now .

“ okay okay we are getting off wrong here “ Atticus says throwing his hands up

“ I mean no disrespect I meant that in a generous way .. it’s always the smaller ones you have to watch out for right .. they seem to have .. secrets “ he winks at me . I blush and turn to the window as Cole and him continue to go back and forth . All the sudden there is a shadow in my face .

I look over and there is the giant from outside with his black shirt and basketball shorts . He is putting up his bags in the cubby .

Atticus turns to me and smirks but then turns back to Cole arguing about height .

I stare at the man in question until he suddenly bends down to pick something up and makes eye contact with me .
