Boot camp

The train comes to a complete stop and all hell breaks loss with the guys on board. Rushing and pushing eachother over to get off .

I grab onto Cole as he pushes through making a route for me . We get out and onto the grass area

“EVERYONE LINE UP BY HEIGHT !!” Yells a man in a crisp uniform I assume he’s the one in charge. Cole looks at me then at the group I sigh grabbing Atticus’s arm we are clearly at the back . Cole rushes over look at me then at Atticus

“ I’ll take care of him alright ..” Atticus grumbles at Cole for being so not trusting . Coles sighs and nods going towards the front .

Suddenly I’m walk into a wall but it tingles .. when did walls grow arms … I look up and see oh god not him again . He looks down at me murderously then at Atticus who shoves me forward .

“ do you have a death wish for me and you because I can hold my own just fine but you pick the dude who’s like the size of your brother to hate you .” Atticus sighs then we are at the end of the line .

“ALRIGHT LADIES FIRST TASK IS TO FIND YOURSELF A GROUP OF 10 yTHOSE WILL BE HOUR TENT BUDDIES NOW GO AND GET SETTLED MEET ME BACK HERE AT 0500 “

Atticus and I scurry over to Cole whose already standing in front of a tent and then shoves us inside

“ could you two move any faster I had to shove 2 other cadets out already !” Cole grumbles grabbing my arm shoving me to the top bunk in the Corner . I look around and it seems like a pretty decent group . Although I’m only counting 9 maybe we will get lucky and be one short .

It’s about an hour later and I’m starting to get comfortable with Atticus as our new friend he’s so funny and clever .

“So Atticus , what happened to you after the war ..? My brother and I ended up rogue in the middle of no whereas you know .. and I know you happen to of been in our area for roughly a week as you said but what about before that?” Cole’s eyes look sad as he asks the question .

Atticus sits up a little straighter looking around then looks back up at us smirking sadly for a moment .

“ Well you guys aren’t the only ones here trying to get there loved ones a better life . Likely for me I have 6 sisters to look out for eachother..” he sighs running his hands through his hair leaning back onto his elbows.

“My father is ..was .. the beta to the Dino pack .. which as we all know was a peaceful but powerful pack but most of the adults at the time didn’t make it out of the war alive .. so my siblings, my mother and myself all ran .. we went to my other Aunts home.. shes ..human but it wasn’t the life we wanted you know so here I am “ Atticus shrugs it off and Cole just nods and pats Atticus lovingly on the back.

“ so on a less heavy topic i have literally never seen someone who can make an enemy as fast as you can there IZ! “ Atticus says laughing . Cole even joins in on the laugh and I roll my eyes

“It’s not my fault I really don’t know what I did ! I was just looking over and “

Atticus laughs cutting me off “ Men do don’t like being starred at by other men if they don’t swing that way you know what I mean “ he winks “ plus I mean that dude is seriously scary as big as your brother and not a friendly bone in his body . You’re lucky you have me “ he says confidently.

“I think you mean me there Atti “ Cole says playfully shoving him over with almost zero effort.

We all bust into a laugh that is cut short . Because Suddenly the tent goes quiet as the commander comes in glancing around .

“ you what’s your name ?” He says pointing at me Cole goes pale and Atticus ever the social one butts in

“His name is Isreal I’m Atticus and this monster is Cole “ he nods at the commander

“ I didn’t ask you private ! Now Israel .. tell me what wrong with this tent “ he peers down at me and I look around frantically trying to decide oh goodness why me why me!?

“ I uh .. uh .. I don’t know sir .. to loud .or messy maybe ..“ he gets close to my face where I can feel his breath hit me and yells

“TRY AGAIN PRIVATE !! There is only 9 of you !”

I fall back trying to keep my composure .

‘Ill bite his face off if you want ‘ mags snaps

“ I’m sorry sir I thought maybe ..”

He silences me . “ luckily for you I found someone to be your tenth because one tent thought it appropriate to have 11 when my instructions could not of been more clear... Meet private Jackson “ and in walks in the one person I didn’t want he stands tall with his shoulders back like he is afraid of no one in this world . He’s obviously extremely dreamy but of course there is the fact he wants to kill me so that’s always nice .
