A New Friend

Darlene's Point of View
"Where am I?" I asked myself.
This place was so creepy. Everything was messy, everything was burnt and some are still burning. The buildings was crushed down, the cars are everywhere but I can see no one. It looks like this place had experience a great war.
Then, I found a girl striking a fire from her bare hands. She's so powerful and I'm very amazed with her ability but she's destroying everything. With my bare hands, I created a flood to blow off the fire. My intention is good but it turns out that I even made the situation worst. The flood vanished everything and I'm so disgusted with myself.
"Hahahaha!" the girl laughed. "You always wanted to become good but there's always a devil inside you. You are the reason why I became like this now," the girl said in front of me. Then, her look slowly changed into Joylene's face.
"Joylene!" I exclaimed. This is so creepy and I feel so scared. I'm scared not to die and be hurt but I'm scared of what Joylene said.
"You're a demon," Joylene said and she turned into a very ugly monster with a two horns on her forehead.
"Ahhhhh!" I shouted.
"Hey! Lady, wake up. Wake up!" the guy awakened me.
I have fallen asleep in the hospital and everything was just a dream. But everything was so clear and it seems so true. Then, I realized that I'm holding the guy's arm very tight.
"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I said and let go of his arm.
"I don't have serious injury when your car bumped me but this time, you almost cut off my hand," he said while shaking his hand. I've seen that his right arm had contusions because of what I did.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. I had a very bad dream and I didn't know that I'm already holding your arm very tight. I'm sorry!" I explained and apologized.
"That's enough. It's alright," he replied. "I am Leo," he formally introduced himself.
"Thanks for waking me up from a nightmare, Leo," I replied.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Uhm, I'm Claire," I replied.
"Can we be friends?" he asked.
"A new friend? Why not?" I replied.
"You're so beautiful!" he seriously said and I feel a little hotness on my face. I'm used to be complimented by everyone but this guy seems to be a type of guy who doesn't compliment just anyone. Besides, just yesterday he is very naughty on me.
"I know!" I replied. "We haven't seen any wallet and any ID's on you. Where are you from?" I curiously asked.
"From the Sky," he seriously replied.
"Sky? Which City is that?" I innocently asked.
"Don't pretend to me. I know that you're an Angel," Leo said and I'm so shocked to hear it. My eyes widened and my mouth opened a little.
"Tuk, tuk, tuk!" Someone knocked in the door.
"Come in!" I said.
"Good morning, Miss De Leon. Here's the bill of your patient," the nurse said while handing me a paper.
"Thanks!" I said and get the bill. "I'll just pay it in the cashier's office. Please assist him here," I added.
"Yes ma'am, it's my duty," the nurse replied and smiled.
A few moments later.
"Where's your house? I'll send you home now so that I can finish my responsibilities on you," I said while opening the door and Leo get inside my car.
"I don't have a house here," Leo replied and I closed the door.
I entered the drivers seat a and closed the door. "Huh? Then, you're living in the streets?" I asked.
"I'm living in the Sky. I just have a mission in this world," Leo replied and I started to realized what he meant lately.
"You're not a human, right?" I asked while looking back at him in the backseat.
"I'm an angel like you," he seriously replied. "Why can't you recognize me?" he asked.
"So, you're really an Angel? Oh my gosh, I'm so happy to know another immortal," I said while smiling.
"You're so weird. Why are you here? What is your mission?" Leo asked me.
"What mission? I'm not an agent and I don't work for anyone," I replied.
"Then, what are you doing in this world?" he asked.
"I was born here," I replied and started driving.
"You are born here? That's impossible," he said.
"It's a long story why I'm born in this world and why I didn't know a lot about Angels," I replied. "I better bring you home. You can stay there as long as you want," I said.
"Thank you for helping me and now, letting me come and stay at your home," Leo replied.
"You are very welcome. I'm so happy to have a new friend, an Angel friend," I said while smiling.
In my mind, I can finally have answers on my questions through this guy. He can help me a lot to understand everything about Angels and Demons. I can learn a lot of things from him and I just can't expressed how happy I am now.
"Can you tell me what happened to your parents? How did it comes that an Angel like you was born in this world?" Leo curiously asked. "You must be living in the Sky and Heavens, not in this chaotic World," he added.
"I'm sorry but I can't tell you right now," I replied. I don't trust him yet because we just know each other for a day. Besides, except me and Joylene, no one else knows our secret. It is not a kind of thing which we cannot share to everyone.
"I understood. We just knew each other and you don't have trust on me," Leo said.
"Thanks!" I replied.
"But when you change your mind, I'm very interested to hear your story. No matter how long it is, I'm willing to listen. I'm happy to have a friend here too, specially one who is an Angel like me," Leo said.
"I don't know a lot of things about an angel. I know that I have magical power but I don't know everything that I'm capable of doing too," I sadly said.
You know what, I really want to asked Leo to teach me everything about being an angel. Yet, I don't want him to think that I'm only running for if. I don't want him to say that I only wanted to become his friend because I want to learn Angel's things.
"If you'd like, I can teach you everything," Leo offered and I'm so happy to hear it from his mouth.
"Really?" I looked back at him in the back seat while smiling.
"Hey, focus on driving,' Leo shouted on me when we almost bump another car. Luckily, I successfully escaped from another accident.
"I'm so sorry! I'm just very excited to know a lot of things about Angels," I said and he just shook his head.
"I wonder if I'm only mistaken and your not an Angel," Leo murmured softly but I clearly heard it.
"I will prove it to you when we arrive home. We are near," I said.
"Mhmm. By the way, how old are you?" Leo asked.
"I'm already 25," I answered. "If I guessed it right, you are younger than me," I added.
"Haha!" He simply laughed.
"Why are you laughing?" I curiously asked.
