My Principles

I planned to run away before the guards comeback but to my surprise, the door suddenly opened. "I'm so dead!" I murmured and my eyes widened in mixed shocked and fear. A tall and muscled man appeared in front of me. I immediately turned around to run away but the guards blocked me. I have nowhere to go now, I have to fight against them.

I draw my sword from nowhere. I threaten them with it but they just stood around me.

"Don't be scared. We won't fight against you," the tall man inside the door said. "The leader invited you to get inside, please follow me," he added and immediately walked inside again. He look so scary but I have no choice now. I followed him even I'm a little bit scared of what will I encounter inside. Yes, I'm immortal but ofcoures, I have fears.

This house is like a modern Palace. What I've seen outside is very different from here inside. It's three times bigger here than the outside and the decorations are very pleasant. I am standing in a large empty area facing the woman who sits in the throne. Beside this large empty space are a lot of doors which have numbers. Every door have a lady servant and they are all looking at me.

"I am Althea and this is the Guardian's home," the woman said and my eyes slowly widened while hearing it. "Welcome to your new home, Darlene Claire May De Leon," she added.

"New home?" I asked and laugh. "HAHAHA! I'm just curious what is inside here but I don't want to stay. I don't want to be a Guardian like this people and follow your orders," I said and smirked.

"But, you are the chosen one," Althea replied. "You to have accept your fate and pay respect to the King of Angels. Your mission in this world was done and your new mission is to become one of us," she added.

"This sword is not mine." I throw the sword and it stuck in the throne of Althea. She was very shocked with what I did and her shoulders was almost hit by the sword.

"Rude!" the tall man shouted and throw his sword toward me too. I luckily escaped from the first strike but he continued to try stabbing me.

"Owen, enough!" Althea shouted and the man get back his sword.

"You've got the wrong person. I am just a petty Angel that was born on this World. Cursed and f*******n to your so called Skies and Heavens," I said. "Let me go now. We are just wasting our time with this useless conversation," I added.

"The sword had chosen you and it will only follow you. We don't discriminate mortals or fallen angels as long as you are the chosen one," Althea said. "Why don't you try to stay here for at least a week before you give your final decisions?" she asked me.

"I have my own Principles. If I said it, I meant it. I don't want to be one of you. Yes, I wanted to protect this world and make it a better one. But, I want to do it in my own ways. I don't want to follow your biased rules. I don't want to make this world balance in good things and bad things like you do. I don't want to follow your orders and served your King or Gods who abandoned my whole family," I seriously said. "Now, let me out before I used my force," I added.

"The Kings may abandoned you but we Guardian's are still willing to guide you. We won't force you to do anything that you don't want to do. I know you are a good girl and I believe that one day, you will work with us. One day, if you need our help, we are very willing to. Remember to draw your sword from my chair if you changed your mind," Althea said in a very calming voice. "Owen, send her out," she added.

I went back directly to the water falls and entered my tent. Angels are the Guardians of Heavens while the Demons see Guardians of Hell. Yet, there was so called, The Guardians, which is immortals who protect this world. Angels and Demons make this World balance and adventurous. There is an Angel's King called Yawe and a Demon's King called Satur, yet they are not the most powerful one. There's a creator of the universes including none living things, humans and different living races, immortals, Kings and Deities. The creator of everything, he is the Supreme Deity called, Father God.

A year had passed. My power become stronger that I can even make the water falls stop or turn it into an Ice. I can make the water dance and make shapes out of Ice. Today, I decided to went out of this Forest and make this World a better one.

I packed all my things and left it in the end of the passage. In the middle of this night, I went home by flying. I changed my clothes and go into the room of Leo. The boy is not there and I guess he is doing his mission. I went to Anna's room, the door is partially open and I found her watching a horror movie. I've come up into a plan and play trick on her.

"Aaaah!" Anna screamed everytime the Killer Monster come out on screen. "Booogs!" I closed the door of her room. "Who's there? Leo is it you? Don't play tricks with me," Anna shouted inside her room. I can hear a very light steps, she going to check if there is someone here outside that's why I immediately jumped into the first floor to hide. "Leo? Leo?" Anna called from her door. I've seen a glass of water in the living room and thought of an even more interesting trick. I controlled the water and throw drops of it to Anna while hiding in a large vase.

"Aaaaahh!" Anna shouted and immediately run inside her room. I went outside of Anna's room again and knocked at her door three times. "Go away, stop bothering me. Go away!" Anna shouted inside her room. She really thought that there's a ghost HAHA. I knocked again three times and it's even more stronger. "Leo, Leo, help me. Someone help," Anna shouted and she seems to be crying.

"Aaaaaaaah!" I shouted when a very cold hands hold my arms.
