Quite Unbelievable

I can't believe that I will meet Darlene now. It's so unbelievable that we are on each other's back fighting against the cops. How did she become like this? Why is she here in the hideout of the Busko g**g tonight? Luckily, I was wearing the Black Dragon's mask and she couldn't recognize me.

"Let's go to the door and fight with the cops. It's the only way for us to go out now," I replied when Darlene's companion asked.

"Follow me," Darlene said. I never expected that she's an expert at fighting just like her twin sister. She ran toward the door and hid beside it. His companion, Fire Queen, and I, immediately followed after her. "There are cops just behind this wall. If we go out now, they will surely shoot us," she said.

"Then what should we do? Wait for them to come in here before we fight?" Fire Queen asked. "They surely called some back ups now that the whole g**g is fighting against them," she said.

"Relax," Darlene replied and took something out of her jacket.

"Bomb?" I asked while looking at what Darlene was holding. "We can't use that or else this house will collapse. It will put us in danger too," I immediately said.

"It's just a sleeping smoke bomb," Darlene said and unpinned it. Then, she threw it outside the door. "Cover your nose," she said when some smoke appeared and entered here in the arena too.

A few moments passed, we were already inside the rest house. Those cops near the door are all lying on the floor. There were still a few cops in some corners and we shot them while running out of the rest house.

A car immediately moved and parked in front of us. Darlene and her companion hastily entered it. "Come with me," Darlene said to Fire Queen while waiting inside the car. Fire Queen immediately entered and they closed the door.

The car immediately left me behind. They didn't even invite me to go with them, lol. I ran into my car and was about to follow them, but they were already gone. They are so fast and so, I drive my car going home before another batch of cops come here.

The cops were only more or less 50 and we killed some of them. Some only left unconscious because of Darlene's sleeping smoke.

Looking at Darlene lately, she has really changed a lot. The Darlene I used to know is weak and only wants to learn through books. She must be a doctor now. Why did she become a gangster too?

I really can't understand life, but because of my changes too, I thought it was just normal. If I change and become like this, maybe she has her own reasons too why she chose to be like who she is now.

I'm really curious about why she is on the 70th anniversary of the Busko g**g. Isn't she the one who tipped the police to catch Leon? I've seen how she ruthlessly shoots the legs of Leon. Did Leon do something wrong to her? How did she know Fire Queen, whom Mom saved from death one time? I really have a lot of questions now, but my priority is to get away from this place and reach home safely.

"Good evening, Sir." The maid greeted me right after she opened the door.

"Good evening," I replied and the maid immediately closed the door right after I entered. "Can you please bring me some wine in the living room?" I asked.

"Sure, sir. Just a minute," the maid replied and she immediately went to the kitchen. I immediately went to the living room, sat on the sofa bed and took my phone.

Luckily, I got some interest in the so-called Fire Queen and I got her number recently. I can now call her. I really wanted to know everything about Darlene and how they knew each other. She's not the Darlene I used to know. What kind of person is she now?

"Kring, kring, kring!" the phone number rang when I called it.

"Hello, is this the Fire Queen?" I immediately asked when someone answered.

"Hello, this is Johnny," it's the voice of a man. "Fire Queen is not here. You can leave me a message for her or call again tomorrow," the man answered.

The maid came and she put a bottle of wine and a cup on the table silently when she saw that I was talking with someone else on my phone.

"Wait, may I know why her phone was on you?" I asked.

"I'm one of the men of Fire Queen. This number is what she gives to anyone who asks for her number. She's not answering those she doesn't know when they call her personal number," Johnny replied.

"Alright, just tell her that Black Dragon called. Please call me back if she's already home. Bye," I said and ended the call.

Silly girl. I'm no ordinary man, but she only gave me her men's number, lol. But this Fire Queen looks interesting. She's strong and always has a serious or angry face. She doesn't often laugh, but she's very pretty.

I drank some wine and scrolled through my social media account. I watched some news and searched for some interesting content on some bloggers. After a little while, I felt very sleepy and so, I immediately went to my bed room. I do my night routine and lay down in bed. Not too long and I fell asleep.

The night passed and I was awakened by the beam of light entering from the not fully closed window of my room. It's already 8:15 am on the wall clock.

I got up and reached my phone on the table beside my bed. There's a message from William, "Hey coz, can we meet today?" he asked.

I replied and asked him why. "Just tell me if you're available or not," he replied.

I feel something fishy about this. What kind of pranks and foolishness will this boy do again? "Where and what time?" I replied.

"That's my boy. Bliss restaurant at 6:00 pm. Don't be late," his last message and I didn't replied anymore.

I scroll through social media as my usual habit before doing my hygiene routine every morning. All the news I found is about the raid on the Busko g**g's hideout, in their 70th Anniversary last night. What's more, a lot of criminals were killed and caught by the police, but Leon was not included.

It means that Leon was helped by someone and he escaped last night. This is bad news. He will surely hunt and kill Darlene for what she had done. Fire Queen and I would be endangered too if he knew that we only left him last night. But who was the one who helped him?
