A Good Plan

Frederick's Point of View

I'm here in my office and I just done doing my paperworks. I've been thinking about joining the organization of Darlene when she called on my phone. I immediately picked it up and answered it.

I put my cellphone beside my right ears. "Hello, Darlene?" I asked.

"Hi Fred. I won't waste more time." She replied. "We have a new lead on Leon's location, are you free for a meeting tonight?" She asked.

"That's a good news." I happily replied. "I'm free tonight, just send me the time and location." I said.

"Alright, I'll send it to." Darlene replied. "I'm a little bit busy now, see you later. Bye!" She said.

"Take care. Bye!" I replied and she cut off the call.

I immediately arrange my table and put my things on my bag. I received a message from Darlene, it stated the location of the place where we are going to meet up.

I hastily go home and changed my clothes. I wear a black jacket with hood and black jeans. I took my handgun and put it on my waist. I go to my black car and immediately go to the location.

It's 6:37 pm when I reached the location. It's a big mansion inside a non-popular subdivision. Someone opened the gate when I came like they already know who I am.

I drive my car and park it inside their lawn, in front of the mansion. There are 5 armed men in black T-shirts walking around including the two who opened the gate for me.

A girl in black cameout from the main door and come closer to me. "Mr. Frederick, right?" She asked.

"Yes." I plainly replied.

"Follow me, sir." She said and turn around. She also have a g*n on her back waist. She enter the house and I followed her. She lead me to the living room and I found Darlene there with the two guys, one of them is familiar.

"Hi." I said while coming closer to them.

Darlene stood up. "Hello!" She replied. "By the way, he is Jack." She pointed her right hand to the good looking guy in the left side, in the couch in front of her. "And he is Danny." He introduced the muscled man beside the first guy. "Guys, this Frederick." He introduced me to them.

"Nice to meet you." I said while giving a hand to them. " Nice to me meet you too, bro." Jack said. "It's good to see you again." Danny replied and if I'm not wrong, he is the guy I've seen with Darlene in the rest house last time.

"Have a seat, Frederick." Darlene said and she sat down. I sat down beside her and we are facing the two guys now.

"We finally have a lead on Leon's present location. He is in the condo of one of the lead Gangster called Zero." Darlene said. "Do you know him?" She asked.

"Yeah, I know him." I replied. "I didn't expect that this stubborn guy will help Leon. If you remember, Zero is one of the red team g**g. He is the guy who never got any bruises when they fought against the black team." I explained.

"I remember him. He is indeed a good fighter." Danny said.

"We already know where is the condo but this building is quite secured specially now that Leon is there. Leon have a connection in one of the shareholder of this building. A lot of Mafias and Gangsters are living there too. It has 25 floors and Leon is in the 23rd floor." Darlene said.

"I cannot wait any longer. I need to avenge my mother's death and a lot of pitiful Gangsters." I replied. "We better attack them now, before they can transfer to another place." I said.

"A lot of innocent individuals and families are living there. We cannot attack without a good plan and risk their lives." Darlene said and she have a point but I'm very eager to kill Leon as soon as possible. I never had enough time and bonding with my mother, Leon deprived the chance for me and Mom to be able to recover for each other's omission and he must pay for it.

"Didn't you say that everyone has their own doom?" I asked. "If they died in our hands, it's their fate and it's not our fault." I said.

"But if possible, we must not kill anyone. We cannot kill just anyone like we are Gods who created them because we are not. We must be reasonable like klling if necessary and for self-defense. We can't kill anyone just for your revenge, just for your selfish desire. Good and innocent, people deserves to live, they can make this world a better one." Darlene explained. "And as I said lately, there's a lot of innocent people in that building and if we attack rushly without a good plan, we may harm them." She said.

"I understood." I sadly replied to her.

"Jack, Danny, what do you think?" Darlene asked.

"What you said is right. We cannot just harm anyone and we need a good plan." Jack said.

"Well, planning is my job but cannot be done without Claire's consideration." Danny said. "Claire, this time you must stick to the plan so that no one will be aggrieved." Danny reminded me.

"I know, I know." Darlene replied. "Tell me your plans." She said.

"Luckily, I have an old friend there. He is my buddy when I'm still in service as cop. I will call him and ask if I can visit him. I will tell him that I have a good business proposal." Danny said. "If he agreed, I and Claire can surely enter the building freely with his help. After that, Claire will be able to go to the 23rd floor and caught or better kill Leon. I will wait for her in the 17th floor on my friend's condo. Claire, you only need to make sure that no one will know outside Zero's condo and no one will create any noise. No one must tip the police not unless we are already out of the building." Danny explained.

"No way!" I immediately complained. "I won't just stay here and wait. I have to come with you and kill Leon myself." I said.

"But you are so impulsive and you have selfish desire. It will only cause problems with us." Jack replied.

"Jack is right but I understand your feelings too. You can come with us and help if you want. But, you must stay with Jack in the car and never go out if possible." Danny said.

"Silly!" I exclaimed. "Will you let Darlene attacked the condo of Zero? Do you think she can defeat Zero? Do you really think that there's no guards inside that f*cking place to help Leon fight against Darlene?" I continuously asked.

"Do you think that I cannot handle them?" Darleme coldly asked me.

"Why? Do you really think you can handle them and don't need my help?" I asked back.

"Ofcoures!" She confidently replied.

"Hey?" I looked at Jack and Danny.

"Claire can handle it." Danny said and Jack nodded.

"Darlene?" I looked at her like I'm a child complaining about something.

"Fine!" Darlene said and I smiled on hearing it. "Make sure that you won't make any wrong moves not unless I'm already holding Leon on his neck." She said.

I hold her hands and smiled to her. "I promised that I will make no mistakes. I will help and kill Leon, I won't be your burden." I seriously said.

She pulled her hands and look at Danny. "So, when are we going to do this plan?" She asked.
