Days had passed since my last breakdown. I hadn’t had a single health scare—not even a common cold—since Caspian did what he did that night. I moved faster and sharper now. I felt healthier and more comfortable in my own body.
He had actually managed to put Thalia’s wolf inside of me to sleep, and the most amazing part was that my own wolf abilities stayed completely intact. He really was a remarkable healer.
That night would have been something worth remembering, but anytime I thought about the details and how he forced that drink into my mouth by kissing me, I always felt incredibly uncomfortable.
