Gabriella's Pov "Patetico." The man spat while he slowly paces around in circles, facing me with a smirk while I'm tied up. "I'm surprised you're not giving up yet. Quite impressed." He stops in his tracks and pays full attention to me. Now, let's clear things up. Gabriella Sangriento most feared woman in Italy. Known as the Mafia queen and leader of the Leone d'Oro. Were known to be, the most blood-curdling Mafia in Italy from time to time. You're assumably wondering, Wait, if you're the most feared Mafia then why are you, number one from 'time to time'? The reason for it is that I have a rival. And we've been competitors for almost five years now. He's either destroying my business or I'm destroying his. I've been trying to find him ever since the beginning. But whenever I'm close- He disappears in thin air. All the data, location, and hideouts just vanish in seconds. He's f*****g good I tell you that. But I'm better. They don't call me The Mafia queen for no f*****g reason. Right? "Any last words before I end you Principessa." He says with pride. "Correction Lorenzo. It's Regina." I seductively respond. He doesn't say a word instead I feel his palm against my right cheek seconds later a slight sting forms and I can taste a bit of bitterness in my mouth. Blood drips out my mouth as I tilt my head to the side. A smirk plasters across my wounded lips."Schiaffeggi comes mia nonna." "Now," I whisper, glaring into Lorenzo's eyes with no emotion Within seconds a massive explosion happens, minutes later I find myself on the ground with massive cuts and scraps. Nothing new. "Boss!" I hear someone call out from a distance. "Boss is injured, I need medical attention now!" The voice starts to sound familiar. I think it's Oscar. "Ugh, is he dead?" I question. "Check his pulse," Oscar demands the men. "I told you this plan was too risky." He says now paying full attention to me. "But it was worth it and I didn't die." I calmly respond. While Oscar cuts the rope that was still tying me up. When he's done he gently places me back down, he removes his black coat and hands it to me. I politely take it and put on so that it can cover my half-naked body. "The gun," I say without hesitation Oscar doesn't say a word he just hands me my beloved gold in color Beretta 92FS I slowly approach Lorenzo who's helplessly laying on the ground. "Ah, Lorenzo tsk tsk tsk," I say, slowly shaking my head while pointing my gun at his head. "Like you said, Patetico." I smile raising one eyebrow. "You used me for bate." He whispers with his weak voice. Hmmm, I love it when I hear the voice of suffering. Music to my ears. "Wasn't it obvious?" I question. I mean no one ever captured me as their prisoner. The people that did are all dead. I let them capture me on purpose so that I can gain input about their gang, by doing that I have to place a rat in every single gang, and they are experts, I'm surprised they haven't been caught yet. One thing of being the Queen. You need eyes and ears everywhere. "Mercy me, please I beg." He wimps, a slight chuckle escapes my lips. "Oh, sweetheart if only you knew how stupid you look right now." "Besides, you're useless to me now," I respond I Slowly bend down so that I'm now closer to his left ear. "Never underestimate me." "Like they say." Pausing for a second. "The most dangerous animal in the world is a silent smiling woman." In a blink of an eye, I shoot his chest. He slowly gasps for air glancing deep into my eyes with fear. I watch him as he takes his last breath. "See you in hell." Four-thousand-five-hundred and six people I've killed in my life. And none of them, I ever pitied for. Funny how cruel I am. But who could blame me? To survive in this toxic world, you have to think of yourself. I've learned that after mama and papa died. And I will always keep that promise until I'm six feet under as well. Always be alone forever till the end. "We need to go." Oscar's voice brings me out of my thoughts. "You're not looking to the stable boss." He says as he notices me slowly approaching him. "I'm fine." Is all I say with a weak voice. s**t, I didn't notice how much blood I'm losing from my injuries. "Just-just a headache," I reply, noticing that I'm becoming light-headed. "Boss." I hear Oscar mumbling. "I'm fine." When I reach Oscar I feel my body collapse onto the ground seconds later all I see is darkness. ** It's cold, why am I cold. I slowly open my eyes and I start to blink rapidly to gain back my vision. "Gabriella." I hear someone besides me gasp in shock. I groan as I gain back my vision. "Where am I? And why am I cold." I question. "You're in the medical room you've been passed out for about four days." I hear Amelia's slowly responding. "I was worried about you." She says in a soft voice. "I'm still cold." I quickly change the subject. "Oh, s**t yeah. Hold on." She quickly replies. She hands me a soft blue blanket and I thank her with a genuine smile. "Did anything happen while I passed out?" I question as she adjusts the blanket for me. "No, not really but we have good news." She says with a smile "What is it?" I say heading straight into the point "We got new information about the Furvus eques." It's been three months ever since we tried to get information about the Furvus eques. "s**t, really." I quickly pull myself up. Amelia giggles and response. "Easy now." She says. I roll my eyes and gently lay back on the bed. Amelia nods at me then grabs her tablet that was beside me. She typed in her passcode and shows me a picture of him. "Damn." I hear her mummer under her breath. Damn indeed. f**k he's hot. I clear my throat to remind myself this is business. Even if he is everything. Fuck, I thought it would be a forty-year-old man or something but this. f**k. "Tell me," I demand. "His name is Giovanni Carson." She simply says. Giovanni Carson, hmm. He's 26 years old and has been the leader of the Furvus eques after his father stepped down. So for about seven years now. He owns about three Clubs and they are pretty successful. He has a company but that's a cover-up for his druglord business." "So that's all the information?" I recall correctly. "Yes." Is all she says. This is good, far from good actually. "How many days should I rest," I question Amelia "About two days. Why?" She questions with curiosity. "I have a plan to end Giovanni for good. But I can only trust you with it."
