It's been two weeks since the school has resumed and so far I've been enjoying it, lectures had started, all students had resumed and I've started to get use to my new teachers and class mates.

And their food is really nice but I still miss my mum's food, home food in general.

Today's lectures ended well and the teachers are really good at what they do, I'm really understanding. We are now at prep after a 40 minutes siesta after this we have sports, I don't really think I love sports well I haven't tried any yet but I can't do with it. We've spent 45 minutes for prep and I can say I have covered some topics on physics that were giving me a had time but I'm understanding now. Thank God for the brain he has given me.

After my two weeks of staying in this school I learned some some things and knew some people.

Kann!! Kann!! 15 minutes later the gong was hit and we are to get dressed for sports within 10 minutes and exactly ten minutes we were chased out of the hostel. All this prefects especially the females that will be chasing students for sports but they won't even do a thing.

When we got to the field we were asked to form lines according to our hostels, that is the ritual in the school we make lines and we are to jog round the football field till the prefects on duty or the sports prefect decides to let you go and if you are let go, you are to form circles according to your houses to stretch before going to do whatever sport you want to do and if the prefect decides to be wicked on your house ehhn, you people will keep rounding the football field till his hearts content and pray you don't misbehave....I pity you guys.

After my house was done with all the rounding of field and stretching we were walking and when I say we I meant Sophia and I.

"I'm going to play volleyball are you coming"

"No just go I'll just find somewhere to sit and read my novel"

" Okay o, but be careful o so that the prefect on duty will not find you especially the sport master. You'll be stabing sport anyhow, Bye." She said and left.

I left and went and sat under one of canopy like thing with grass roofing the school made for when you want to relax, hangout or just be there I don't know. I sat and started reading the novel title Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. As I was reading enjoying the book and imagining the characters in my head and virtualizing it and being so into the book I heard the clearing of a voice, and as I Rose my head. f**k a prefect I stood up to leave but was cut short in my movement.

" You can seat"

" Oh okay " then I sat back

"What book are you reading " he said.

Okay I didn't expect that

" Alright nice book "

"You've read the book?"

" Yes, thrice, it's actually a great book" " even though she passed through that hardship as a child from her aunt and cousins, taken to the school were they were starved and most children dying she is really a strong child not dying though even with that she never gave up then working at the thornfield then falling in love with Edward and finding out he was already married leaving him and finding her family and going back to Edward after his wife burnt his house and him losing his eyes and arm."he narrated the book

" Wow you really have read the book" I said

" Yeah, what chapter are you in? Is this the first time you're reading it?"

" Nope, this is also my third time reading and I'm almost done, in the last page"

"Oh alright. By the way my name is Alexander Daniels you can call me Alex"

" Okay Alex I'm Faye, Faye Shagaya well I guess you can call me fay, I think" I said

Well I won't lie he looks good. Then the gong was rang.

" Well I guess our discussion will have to end here, I really enjoyed our conversation. Bye "

I started to go back to the field because Sophia and I agreed to meet at the football field, as I got there I saw her and she looks really pissed, was I the one that vexed her? Ahh I don't like it whenever she is angry, she becomes..

" Where have you been nah?, I've been looking for you since" she said cutting me out of my thoughts

" Shebi you said we should meet after sport nahh, am I not here? "

"I didn't play again nah so I was looking for you "

" What happened? But you love volleyball?"

" Is it not that senior she just came and said I should get out of the field that she wants to play, with her legs like bend bend iroko tree wey no wan grow"she said and I busted laughing

" Eiya sorry, don't mind her you hear"

" Before who was minding her it's the fact she chased me away and she doesn't know how to play that is annoying me o"

" Ehen where were you?"she asked

"I was sitting at the seat out nah I was reading my novel and I finished it. Oh and I spoke to snr Alexander"

" Really? How? He doesn't really talk to people o, I heard he's a snub"

" Well we spoke and he was really nice "

" Did you approach him first or what"

" Nope, he came to talk to me " I said confused why she talking this way.

" But people say he's a snub "

" People say..."I said making a face

" Will you always believe what people are saying? Maybe he's just introverted and likes being alone so they're misjudging everything "

"Yeah maybe what did you people talk about " she asked and I know she won't stop asking until I tell her so I narrated our encounter on our way to hostel.
