“Anna, it’s been a week. I’m fine.” Eclipse grins as she twirls her girlfriend around to face her, kissing her gently.
Anna hums, pouting as she pulls away, “I know, I just don’t want you to push yourself too soon.”
Eclipse pushes her hair behind her ear and cups her cheek. “I know. I appreciate you looking out for me. But I’m feeling fine, no sign of infection anymore, and the panic attacks haven’t been as frequent. I’m OK, I swear.”
Anna grumbles, giving in, albeit reluctantly. Eclipse kisses her nose, making her smile as she lets her go. A notification on her phone interrupts their moment as Eclipse opens it up, her face turning serious.
