Chapter Five

430 Words
The rogue king sat on his crumbling throne. He was older now but still had all his anger towards packs. Where he and his people reside in was an old abandoned hospital not too far from the outskirts of the town. The king ran his hands through his grey hair as he stood up now pacing. He was waiting for the entail that he asked for. He had never stopped watching the packs in the surrounding towns. Keeping any eye on all of them. Waiting for the right moments to send his army out to destroy them all. The king slammed his fist hard on his throne. The anger boiling over him as he waited to find out. Silence filled the room causing his anger to begin to over flow from him. Just as he was about to call in one of his soldiers. His right hand man came in running to the room. “My lord I have some news,” Jaffery said. He stood in front of his king huffing and puffing from running. He was stark naked in front of his king. His chest heaving in and out as he tried to catch his breath. “What is it Jaffery?” the king asked. “My lord Nathaniel has made his son Darren and Scott son Zach the future Alpha and Beta,” Jaffery said. The king sat down on his throne and motioned for Jaffery to continue with his intel. “As far as what was seen is that neither of the future Alpha or Beta have found their mates yet. But they do begin their training before they go off to college,” Jaffery said. The king ran his hands across the arms of his throne. Standing up he walked over to the window and stared out the deserted land. “What is our next move my lord?” Jaffery asked. The king turned to Jaffery. “We find the weakest pup in that pack and use them,” king said. “I did hear of a cripple in the pack. All I know is that the pup just turned sixteen and nothing has happened,” Jaffery said. The king grinned at hearing that. “Then we need to send our young pup in to befriend her. Get him registered in that school. Explain what she looks like to the young pup and let him know I am counting on him,” they king said. “Yes my lord,” Jaffery said. The king continued to stare out the window. Something in the King's mind told him that he had a chance to destroy this pack. Even with the help he was getting.
