Asena My eyes widen in disbelief when she barges into the room. I am dumbfounded, unable to believe my own eyes. Aubrey nervously tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and gazes at me with apologetic blue eyes swirling with remorse and guilt. “I’m sorry, Asena. I brought all of that on you.” “You’ve been fast.” Melissa cuts her off and gives her a brief hug. “I expected you to head here or to Northumberland.
