I catch her strangled voice before I reach them.
I ran like crazy to get to her before the Royal guards. And I did not share the location of her phone with them. Anything to make sure I catch her before they do.
I was afraid it was another ruse of hers, but thankfully it was not. She needed her phone to talk with her friend in the US.
I was surprised by her short discussion though … She does not know that River Moon is one of the strongest packs in the USA. She asked her friend to find River Moon. This friend, Bella, was not fully honest with my mate.
I might have inadvertently brought this pack into our conflict by sharing the information with Richard and by mentioning River Moon to my mate.
But I will worry about that later. For now, I must catch them and make sure no one ru
