“Stay here.” Keith orders as he runs past the woman.
I glance at Melissa and we both run after him.
To hell with his order. I don’t know what we are running into, but he will need us. Well, at least Melissa and her magic. I doubt I can do anything valuable in any fight against supernatural beings.
This part of the underground tunnel goes straight ahead, and I can see Keith making the distance between us widen. A witch and a human cannot match a werewolf’s speed.
I noticed light coming out of an ajar door right before Keith slams the door open with a loud bang and stormed into the room.
Keith let out a menacing growl before roaring “Release him at once!”
